Happy to Hire them
Their movers recently helped me move into my new apartment and they did an outstanding job. I needed a lot of assistance (with lifting and packing heavy items) since I was moving alone and the team did not disappoint. They disassembled my bulky furniture and packed it thoroughly with thick cloth and blankets. The delivery was within the quoted time and they even helped me set up the new place. I cannot stop raving about my experience!

Korey and Aaron S were amazing help! We moved from Alabama and these guys made us feel at home while they helped getting our home together. They were fast, efficient, and safe. They made the final part of our move so incredibly smooth and we couldn't have asked for better help.

These men were polite, professional, quick, efficient
These men were polite, professional, quick, efficient and went so above and beyond to make sure that everything was to our standards. They wrapped every single thing with utmost care to ensure it's safety; verified with my when they had questions or concerns about anything; showed me if they noticed something was broken before they packed it. All in all phenomenal. I will only be recommending them and utilizing their services for future moves. *side note: they have great taste in music and it was all smiles and good vibes. I could not be happier.

Long distance move from NJ to TN
Cross Country Movers (CCM), also operating under the name “Moving and Storage” in South Florida, is not a moving company but a broker—a fact they fail to clearly disclose. I was referred to CCM through 2Movers.com while preparing to relocate from New Jersey to Tennessee. The initial interaction was promising: the sales representative was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided a quote based on my inventory, including a 600 lb safe that required specialized equipment. I was assured they had the necessary tools and capabilities. We scheduled the pickup for June 25, with June 26 as a backup. Two days prior, I had to initiate contact to confirm the date. During the inventory review, the volume increased by 175 cubic feet, which I accepted, but the rate per cubic foot was also raised by 11% without prior notice—cited as a labor adjustment. The pickup was first delayed to June 26 without explanation, despite no rain issues. I will concede that there was a heat wave that Mon through Wed, but that was not the reason given for the delay. The truck was then supposed to arrive at 4pm, but it arrived 30 min late. Oddly, two of the movers arrived on time. Contrary to CCM’s claims, the truck was a third-party rental, not CCM or “Moving and Storage SF” branded, and the crew was neither uniformed nor CCM employees. The driver had just met the laborers that day and paid them in cash. While the crew handled the items with care, the promised equipment for moving the safe was not provided. The team attempted to lift the safe manually, which was unsafe, so I had to leave it behind and will have to arrange for a new, separate transport. Due to volume limits, I had to leave some furniture behind. After loading, we completed paperwork and scheduled delivery no later than July 5. Unfortunately, the delivery process was equally disorganized. I received conflicting updates, and the delivery date shifted multiple times, ultimately landing on July 5. Upon arrival, the truck was not the original one used for pickup, indicating my belongings were transferred without my knowledge or supervision. Payment was required in cash or money order before unloading—no secure payment options were accepted. This led to a tense situation that required police involvement to ensure my items were released. The handling of my belongings during the transfer was careless. Boxes marked “Do Not Stack” were crushed under heavy items, and other customers’ items were mixed in with mine. I had to personally oversee the unloading to ensure proper placement in storage. Conclusion: I cannot recommend Cross Country Movers. Their lack of transparency, use of third-party contractors, poor communication, and mishandling of items made this a highly stressful experience. I strongly advise verifying that any moving company you hire owns its trucks and employs its own trained staff.

Best movers ever!
When we move we call Cross Country Movers and nobody else! The care they take of our items is always top notch. It’s the patience the guys have with me that I live the most though. I am super picky and they move and rearrange the furniture until it is just right and are always so sweet about it, like I’m not being a pain. Best movers ever!

Wow! Definitely a 5 ***** moving company. They are on time for the day of your move, which reduces any all stressors that can be related to your planned and busy day. They" re efficient and hard working during your moving process. They come equipped and prepared thoroughly to protect any and all of your items needing any extra care. They definitely aim to please and I highly recommend them not only for my above statements, but also for their cost prevention in keeping their services affordable to the consumer. I had an excellent experience with this moving company from start to finish. Communication was great. I spoke with the owner beforehand, and everything was clear, professional, and easy to coordinate. James and Amir were outstanding on moving day: incredibly efficient, very professional, and they treated every item with the kind of care you rarely see. They made the whole process smooth and worry‑free. I’ll definitely be using this company again.

they handled everything very well.
Hiring this moving company may have been the best decision of the year I’ve made. They removed all the stress from moving and turned it into something enjoyable. I had a lot of heavy furniture, but the crew was so in sync that it didn’t seem like much of a challenge. They even went ahead and checked the truck twice to ensure everything was not left behind. I can’t recommend them enough!

Just Horrible
I used this company last year to move me to Texas. They showed up late destroyed my stuff they took money from me for cheap boxes and now they said a year later I would get a 62.00 refund my purse cost more than that. And per Mrs M my money would beHere by the 19 well it’s the 24 still no refund. I am going to complain toDOT This is a horrible company don’t use them
