The entire experience was first-rate. The movers were so well-organised and meticulous with their packaging that the whole operation went off without a hitch.
My partner and I just relocated to SD. I ultimately made the decision to move after getting married. Very few of the relocation companies I contacted even returned my calls. Getting a quote from Cross Country Movers was the fastest and cheapest option. It was helpful when deciding which carriers to look into. The actual move took place two days before the original plan. All of our possessions, including those we brought with us, were present and undamaged. If you're in a hurry but still want to be secure, I recommend utilizing them.
Super helpful and strong workers, they mean business! Anything that needs to be taken apart and reassembled at the new place, they’ll do it all and one way or another they will get you moved in nicely. Such friendly workers, we got them some lunch as well as an extra thanks. 100% would recommend and would use again!!

Very courteous and took great care of our belongings. They wrapped all of our furniture with care to ensure that it wasn’t scratched or damaged. They checked in with us multiple times throughout the move to see if we were satisfied with the progress and asked if we wanted them to adjust or move anything. Very professional and top notch. This team made it so easy for me to move my daughter back home from college. We had a huge load to carry back but they worked fast and none was left behind. They even loaded her bike and other outdoor gear that wouldn’t fit in our car. Absolutely worth it.
When I tell you these guys destroyed my furniture, I’m not exaggerating. My wooden dresser? Deep scratches all over the surface. My dining table? A massive chip on the corner. My couch? Mystery stains that weren’t there before.
