Hiring this moving company may have been the best decision of the year I’ve made. They removed all the stress from moving and turned it into something enjoyable. I had a lot of heavy furniture, but the crew was so in sync that it didn’t seem like much of a challenge. They even went ahead and checked the truck twice to ensure everything was not left behind. I can’t recommend them enough!
Cross Country Movers helped us out today moving from North Hills to Simi Valley. Our apartment has no elevator and we were on the top 3rd floor, they were done quickly and worked well as a team. Shout out to Max and his team for all their hard work. We are satisfied with their customer service and would use them in the future if needed. 10/10!
Feeling so grateful for these amazing movers! They made a stressful situation so much easier. The office staff was very helpful with answering all my questions and giving me a detailed quote. The movers were strong, efficient, and very respectful of my home. They helped me move a giant antique dresser that I was worried wouldn't fit through the door.
Forest was super helpful in providing a quote and assisting in the scheduling of our move. Provided additional details which were helpful. Our crews both days were great! They were friendly and efficient, helpful too. Company was even able to store all our stuff for a couple days as well.
The communication morning of the move was clear and appreciated. The crew arrived around 8:30am and immediately put down floor protection which was appreciated. Joe and John started packing up, which is such a nice service to offer, and everything was handled with care. Once everything was loaded up we then met at the end destination. Again protection was put down and the unloading was efficient. Overall we had a great experience and would use this service again!
I recently used Cross Country Movers for a local move and was thoroughly impressed with their service. The 4-man team was not only highly efficient but also completed the move in significantly less time than estimated—finishing in 5 hours instead of the quoted 7. That meant I actually paid LESS than expected—when does that ever happen??? After several moves over the years, this was the first time everything arrived without damage and without any surprise charges. Their pricing was fair, and was able to book them on fairly short notice, and they were on-time - which was critical as we had to schedule a loading dock and freight elevator at our new apartment.
If I could give them zero stars I would. The actual guys who moved the boxes were great, but the company lost five of my boxes, said they would pay me for them if I signed and notarized a form, and then NEVER sent payment. They also gave my number to the guy who brought the truck to my new apartment and he sent me a video of him having sex afterward. If you are moving an apartment DO NOT use this company, they are crooks.
I found them on the Good Contractors List and noticed they had recently moved a neighbor. In addition they had very positive on line reviews so I took a chance. Glad I did as it was a fantastic experience. They were thorough, detail oriented, and focused on performing quality work. They are extremely customer centric, top to bottom, striving to provide an incredible customer experience. I would highly recommend them.
