I was surprised at how quiet and efficient the movers worked. They moved steadily without wasting time, but never rushed the process. Everything was packed with precision, making the whole move feel effortless.
I’ve used Cross Country Movers twice - once for a personal move and recently for an office move and had positive experiences both times. For this most recent move, they showed-up on time and handled our office furniture and marketing materials with care. The crew chief Rob did such a good job packing our storage unit that we were able to cancel the order for a second one. Very happy with their work.
Fernando and Nestor are the most amazing movers. I’ve ever experienced good quality work and be patient with us although we received some items that were not well. These men were polite, professional, quick, efficient and went so above and beyond to make sure that everything was to our standards. They wrapped every single thing with utmost care to ensure it's safety; verified with my when they had questions or concerns about anything; showed me if they noticed something was broken before they packed it. All in all phenomenal. I will only be recommending them and utilizing their services for future moves. *side note: they have great taste in music and it was all smiles and good vibes. I could not be happier.
This was my third time moving with Cross Country Movers, and once again, they went above and beyond. We had a huge house to move, and of course, some unexpected last-minute changes came up—but they handled it all with incredible patience, professionalism, and care. Every step of the way, the team was friendly, careful with our belongings, and just genuinely great to work with. They made a very stressful day feel so much easier. Literally the WORST moving experience of my life! I moved from RI to FL. I was given an estimate then the day of the move I was told by the movers that the cost would be THOUSANDS more than quoted!!!! I didn't know what to do, they already had my stuff on the truck, our families flight to FL was about to leave, my lease was up on my apt so we had no where to go. I also needed to start my new job in 2 days. The movers for my car had already taken it. We didn;t know what to do. They said they were gonna dump our stuff on the street if we didnt pay. They knew they had control. We felt as if we had no choice. Then it took weeks and weeks to get our stuff and some things arrived broken! After many phone calls nothing was solved. This company is the WORST. DO NOT USE THEM!!
The team lead told me he went ahead and packed the closets for me. I almost cried from relief. They really went above and beyond in my opinion. Erick, Gabe and Kevin were amazing and made sure to take great care of my items and alerted me to possible issues with some of my furniture as far as wear and tear that could become a problem. This move was basically seamless for me and it was all because they made sure it would be. The quote was accurate and there were no surprises. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
They do not properly take care of your items. Most of your stuff will be broken, stolen, or just downright filthy. Please go use someone else if you actually want to get your stuff as is. Then when you try to get a claim for your items they give you the run around. They subcontract out so there’s no communication or any accountability.
As interior designers who work with a lot of moving companies, Cross Country Movers is by far the best team we've ever worked with!! Great service from initial contact to final installation. The entire team is professional, efficient, and super easy to work with!
