They were speedy and efficient, while still carefully wrapping our furniture and gently transporting our boxes, especially those with fragile items. I can't say enough about how well our moving day went with Daniel and his team. Strongly recommended for anyone in the Chicago area!
One of my paintings ended up crammed behind a mattress in the truck, and I discovered a nasty rip across the canvas when unloading. Nobody admitted to doing it, and I got zero compensation.
It was a tough job, but they were totally friendly, very can-do, efficient, and arrived at our new location within minutes of when they said they would. And the price was extremely competitive! Have cash on hand to tip your Cross Country Movers crew — they earn every dollar! 10/10 strong recommend.
Cross Country Movers was the most competent of the 6 movers I contacted, and their hourly personalized and prompt service was the best fit for my needs, so I hired them. I am pleased with my decision after the transfer!
This move felt easier because Cross Country Movers experts took the lead on small details. They had furniture blankets, tools for disassembly, and extra shrink wrap for our glass table. I didn’t lift a finger once they arrived, and they constantly checked in before taping or wrapping anything. I couldn’t have asked for anything else!
I’ve moved several times and these guys are the best! Thanks again to Van (estimator), Joel (great truck driver and super strong), Jake (lead guy and very strong), and Neka (super wrapper and strong). There are a few companies using this name. The company with the PA address is the SCAM company. They quote you very low and when they have all your possessions held hostage, they triple your price. I'm talking several thousands. Then they promise a 2 day delivery and when you show up at your empty house, they are nowhere to be found. They stop answering the phone and send you an email that says they have 21 days to make delivery. Meanwhile I'm in an empty house after spending much money on motel rooms. I had to buy a mattress, pillows, blankets, kitchen essentials, clothes, toiletries, a TV to keep from losing my mind while everything I own is MIA. Please heed the reviews. This is a complete scam company.
When we move we call Cross Country Movers and nobody else! The care they take of our items is always top notch. It’s the patience the guys have with me that I live the most though. I am super picky and they move and rearrange the furniture until it is just right and are always so sweet about it, like I’m not being a pain. Best movers ever!
We could trust them as they wrapped every item and asked us where they could place everything. We asked their help with re-arranging things and they were always willing to help. I would 100% recommend them to everyone! Incredible job, period!! Thank you Gerardo, Eloy and Bryan!
The team of 4 movers showed up on time, were very professional, asked questions about my expectations and did everything to exceed my expectations during packing and moving from the old home and unpacking and furniture placement in the new home. During the move, I received a few texts from their customer service team to see how things were going and I really appreciated the real time follow-up.
