We had an odd job of moving my basement workshop out of a small basement with a narrow, winding stairwell. I have lots of heavy machinery, awkward parts, and bulky equipment. They clearly know all the tricks of the trade. At the new house, they had to cross newly refinished wood floors and navigate freshly painted walls on the way down to the basement, and nothing was damaged or scuffed. We even had a surprise item to move from the garage to the second floor, and they were happy to help.
I transported my antique dining set, complete with six chairs and a china cabinet, to a new home across town. Each chair was wrapped individually, and the cabinet was secured with soft straps. The movers kept the glass doors safe from scratches, and the set looked perfect in my new dining room. Their careful handling made the whole move feel stress-free.
The Cross Country Movers team of Ante, Marcus P., and Fanty worked incredibly hard while being exceptionally careful throughout our move. They executed the plan we discussed flawlessly and stayed focused until the job was fully complete. We highly recommend this team for any move.
Don’t ever give a deposit. They subcontract amateurs. They will hire cheap unprofessional laborers who do not know how to move anything. They will be cheat you out of money, and damage most of your stuff. There is no customer service and they will not answer calls once they have your money. Stay away. Use a known professional moving company. Never give a deposit unless they did the quote in person at your home, which they will not do. First red flag.
Cross Country Movers moved out office TWICE this year. They did a fabulous job. Jesse, Allie, Shawn, Grant and Dale were our life savers! Dale is our go-to guy for these moves and cubicle builds. Thank you for such a safe and professional move.
I recently helped my uncle move into a smaller home, and we had some older furniture and heavy boxes to sort through. Some of the items were really sentimental, like his dining table and old photo albums. The movers took their time and made sure everything was packed carefully. They didn’t rush us, even when things got a little disorganized. It felt like they actually respected the situation.
The movers were professional and made sure all the items are placed in the right place and also helped with disassembly and assembly of the large furniture like sofa and bed frame.
The team was punctual, professional, and very efficient from start to finish. They handled all of my furniture and boxes with care, and everything arrived in perfect condition. Moving a one-bedroom apartment can still be stressful, but they made the process smooth and worry-free. Everyone was friendly and respectful, and the pricing was very fair. I highly recommend Cross Country Movers to anyone looking for reliable movers — I’ll definitely use them again in the future!
This was my second time using Cross Country Movers, and once again they delivered excellent service. The team - Pupo, Brian, Huberto, and Fidel - arrived early and worked efficiently with a lot of care and consideration. They wrapped my furniture (a first for me in all my moves!), provided a large box for several bulky loose items, and even offered me water, which was such a thoughtful touch. They packed the storage unit really well. Highly recommend!
