I needed help moving the large pieces of furniture and boxes up out of a base into a U-Haul truck since I fractured my knee cap. Not only were they up front about all the charges, the process on how they were going to load everything securely, they even checked in several times to give updates on the items still left to move.
We had to ensure there was no downtime as our company relocated to a new site. The next morning, our team was able to access a fully furnished workspace thanks to the overnight efforts of Cross Country Movers movers, who transported desks, PCs, and office supplies. We are very grateful!
From start to finish, they were on top of everything. There was no need to monitor their speed or work ethic. They took apart my canopy bed with ease and managed to fit all of my items into the storage unit like a giant Jenga puzzle (perfectly packed and organized). It was such a relief to work with people I could trust to just get it done right. Highly recommend!
Keith, Jalen, and Tony were exceptional movers. They constantly communicated with my wife and me about what we wanted moved from our apartment and where we wanted to put everything in the house where we moved. They were methodical and swift. I trusted them the entire time that they were moving us, and I am glad that I chose Cross Country Movers over all of their competitors in the Chicagoland area. We believed that they would be the best moving company, and they were.
I had some unexpected delays with my lease, and Cross Country Movers was flexible enough to adjust the timing. The movers showed up early, helped wrap a few last-minute items, and didn't rush even when I was clearly stressed. They helped get my bed and couch into a tight space without forcing anything. I felt supported during the whole process, which really mattered that day.
What a great experience with this company. I moved so many time in my life but this was the best experience I ever had. The way they take care of your items it’s amazing. Professionally wrapping do you get no damages. Crew were great very efficient, they worked non stop and I really appreciate them. My sister will be using them also for her move to Florida. Don’t ever give a deposit. They subcontract amateurs. They will hire cheap unprofessional laborers who do not know how to move anything. They will be cheat you out of money, and damage most of your stuff. There is no customer service and they will not answer calls once they have your money. Stay away. Use a known professional moving company. Never give a deposit unless they did the quote in person at your home, which they will not do. First red flag.
Just had them finish unloading my furniture and I am very pleased with the three gentlemen that moved me. Professional and kind. I highly recommend hiring Two men and a truck for your next move!
