They were the only company that quickly followed up with me via text and were very communicative about the whole process. They were very flexible because I kept having to add things to the manifest cause I haven't been in our apartment for awhile. The move itself was very smooth and easy.
Quality of work and work ethic. We used Meathead Movers to help me unload when we moved to Morro Bay. (Help me) They did everything, all I had to do was point where I wanted stuff, they even loaded my storage shed. It was a lifesaver for me. We used them again to help my Daughter and family move from an upstairs apartment to a house on the same property. Again, they did all the work. Moving is hard work, Cross Country Movers makes it look easy.
I transported my antique dining set, complete with six chairs and a china cabinet, to a new home across town. Each chair was wrapped individually, and the cabinet was secured with soft straps. The movers kept the glass doors safe from scratches, and the set looked perfect in my new dining room. Their careful handling made the whole move feel stress-free.
Hiring this moving company may have been the best decision of the year I’ve made. They removed all the stress from moving and turned it into something enjoyable. I had a lot of heavy furniture, but the crew was so in sync that it didn’t seem like much of a challenge. They even went ahead and checked the truck twice to ensure everything was not left behind. I can’t recommend them enough!
Cross Country Movers helped us out today moving from North Hills to Simi Valley. Our apartment has no elevator and we were on the top 3rd floor, they were done quickly and worked well as a team. My partner and I just relocated to SD. I ultimately made the decision to move after getting married. Very few of the relocation companies I contacted even returned my calls. Getting a quote from Cross Country Movers was the fastest and cheapest option. It was helpful when deciding which carriers to look into. The actual move took place two days before the original plan. All of our possessions, including those we brought with us, were present and undamaged. If you're in a hurry but still want to be secure, I recommend utilizing them.

As artists, my husband and I decorated our home with ceramics, sculptures, and paintings. The crew treated every item as if it were a museum artifact. They provided bubble wrap and special containers, safeguarding our masterpiece. With their help, we rehung a work that required four hands in the studio. Excellent service.
Moving amid a heat wave made me nervous about the weather. The crew kept everything going well even though they worked in shifts and brought water bottles.
