Horrible Experience - Avoid This Company! I can't express enough how terrible my experience with Cross Country Movers has been. From the start, the communication was absolutely dreadful. Once they picked up my stuff, I never heard a word from them. No updates, no tracking info, nothing. I had no idea where my belongings were or when they would arrive. The worst part? They completely overcharged me. The initial estimate was way lower than the final bill, and they tacked on extra, unexplained fees that were never mentioned during booking. It felt like they were just taking advantage of me at every turn. And now, even though it's been weeks, my stuff still isn't here! No one is giving me a clear answer or timeline. This company is a complete disaster and I wouldn't trust them with a single item, let alone an entire move. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable moving company. Cross Country Movers is an absolute nightmare. PS: I will write an complain everyday on here so people will know till my stuff come and all my stuff needs to come undamaged and nothing missing Sincerely ANTHONY WATKINS !!!

Useless
When I called to complain about the issues, the customer service team was rude and dismissive. They talked over me, refused to let me explain the situation, and basically told me there was nothing they could do. I’ve never dealt with such poor service.

They were punctual, professional, efficient, and handled everything with such care. They worked quickly but thoughtfully, and their positive attitude made the entire move feel easy. I was very happy with the service from start to finish. Thank you to Dora, Spasoje, and the entire Cross Country Movers team for making my move smooth and worry free. Highly recommend!

This crew exemplifies what it means to be kind, patient, and genuinely committed to delivering my belongings to my home as if they were their own. Their calm demeanor, respectful communication, and unwavering patience with me 😀 made a lasting impression. It's rare to encounter a crew so consistently courteous, efficient, and easy to work with. I’ve moved several times and these guys are the best! Thanks again to Van (estimator), Joel (great truck driver and super strong), Jake (lead guy and very strong), and Neka (super wrapper and strong). Do not use!!! Beware!!
One of my paintings ended up crammed behind a mattress in the truck, and I discovered a nasty rip across the canvas when unloading. Nobody admitted to doing it, and I got zero compensation.

These people suck!!
Literally the WORST moving experience of my life! I moved from RI to FL. I was given an estimate then the day of the move I was told by the movers that the cost would be THOUSANDS more than quoted!!!! I didn't know what to do, they already had my stuff on the truck, our families flight to FL was about to leave, my lease was up on my apt so we had no where to go. I also needed to start my new job in 2 days. The movers for my car had already taken it. We didn;t know what to do. They said they were gonna dump our stuff on the street if we didnt pay. They knew they had control. We felt as if we had no choice. Then it took weeks and weeks to get our stuff and some things arrived broken! After many phone calls nothing was solved. This company is the WORST. DO NOT USE THEM!!

Great experience with Zoran and Alex! They were professional, thorough kind and quick! Took great care of the move and so kind! If we move again will certainly use Cross Country Movers!!!

They were on time and communicated clearly
They were on time, communicated clearly, worked quickly, and took great care of our belongings. We moved from a third story condo with no elevator but the stairs didn't seem to slow them down at all. Everything arrived at our new home safely. I will definitely use them if I ever need to move again!
