One of my paintings ended up crammed behind a mattress in the truck, and I discovered a nasty rip across the canvas when unloading. Nobody admitted to doing it, and I got zero compensation.

Getting a quote from Cross Country Movers was the fastest and cheapest option. It was helpful when deciding which carriers to look into. The actual move took place two days before the original plan. All of our possessions, including those we brought with us, were present and undamaged. If you're in a hurry but still want to be secure, I recommend utilizing them.
They were punctual, efficient, and treated our belongings with care and consideration. They turned a day that is usually very cumbersome and stressful into one that flew by with ease. They really went above and beyond and I will confidently recommend them to any and everyone I know that needs a reputable moving company. I can't say thank you enough!!
I recently helped my uncle move into a smaller home, and we had some older furniture and heavy boxes to sort through. Some of the items were really sentimental, like his dining table and old photo albums. The movers took their time and made sure everything was packed carefully. They didn’t rush us, even when things got a little disorganized. It felt like they actually respected the situation.

The movers who helped were on time, professional, organized and price was decent. They did the job fast and with care. Unlike other movers they are available on holidays and were able to accommodate my move at short notice. I appreciate their prompt communication. I will use their service again.
Literally the WORST moving experience of my life! I moved from RI to FL. I was given an estimate then the day of the move I was told by the movers that the cost would be THOUSANDS more than quoted!!!! I didn't know what to do, they already had my stuff on the truck, our families flight to FL was about to leave, my lease was up on my apt so we had no where to go. I also needed to start my new job in 2 days. The movers for my car had already taken it. We didn;t know what to do. They said they were gonna dump our stuff on the street if we didnt pay. They knew they had control. We felt as if we had no choice. Then it took weeks and weeks to get our stuff and some things arrived broken! After many phone calls nothing was solved. This company is the WORST. DO NOT USE THEM!!
They were all diligent, hardworking, professional, and went the extra mile to make sure the move was as smooth and safe as possible for us. I was very impressed by the team and how they tackled any potential logistical problem across both locations. Would definitely recommend them to any other LA movers looking for someone reliable!
