Literally the WORST moving experience of my life! I moved from RI to FL. I was given an estimate then the day of the move I was told by the movers that the cost would be THOUSANDS more than quoted!!!! I didn't know what to do, they already had my stuff on the truck, our families flight to FL was about to leave, my lease was up on my apt so we had no where to go. I also needed to start my new job in 2 days. The movers for my car had already taken it. We didn;t know what to do. They said they were gonna dump our stuff on the street if we didnt pay. They knew they had control. We felt as if we had no choice. Then it took weeks and weeks to get our stuff and some things arrived broken! After many phone calls nothing was solved. This company is the WORST. DO NOT USE THEM!!
If I could give them zero stars I would. The actual guys who moved the boxes were great, but the company lost five of my boxes, said they would pay me for them if I signed and notarized a form, and then NEVER sent payment. They also gave my number to the guy who brought the truck to my new apartment and he sent me a video of him having sex afterward. If you are moving an apartment DO NOT use this company, they are crooks.
They arrived exactly on time and did not leave until the job was perfectly done. We will have a second move in four weeks to finish and complete the process and I am going to ask for Louis Olivo and his crew again there are perfect for what I was looking for. I recommend them without any reservation whatsoever
We made our reservation over a month ahead of time and received constant reminders in advance of the move date. On the day of the move, Emmanuel, Roberto, and Felix arrived on time and did everything we expected and hoped for to make the move successful (boxing, wrapping, transporting, etc). They were a great crew and couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Price was super reasonable as well.
Everything was done quickly, carefully, and with great organization. Every item was packed securely, nothing was damaged, and everything arrived in perfect condition. The whole process went smoothly and right on schedule — you can tell they have a lot of experience.
The team from Cross Country Movers were fast, efficient, affordable and very professional. We used them to move my daughter into her new apartment and I was impressed with how smoothly it went. Fernando and Nestor are the most amazing movers. I’ve ever experienced good quality work and be patient with us although we received some items that were not well. They do not properly take care of your items. Most of your stuff will be broken, stolen, or just downright filthy. Please go use someone else if you actually want to get your stuff as is. Then when you try to get a claim for your items they give you the run around. They subcontract out so there’s no communication or any accountability.
