Communication was excellent—they kept me informed every step of the way through emails and phone updates various times throughout the days up until delivery. That level of transparency gave me confidence in my decision and total peace of mind. Most impressive was how well they handled everything without needing constant input from me. My home office setup, fragile electronics, and important documents were packed with care and labeled properly. Nothing was misplaced, mislabeled, or damaged. When I returned, everything had already been delivered, unloaded, unwrapped,!and unpacked just as I had requested. For someone like me, who doesn’t have time to micromanage a move, Budget Moving Services was a lifesaver, and the perfect solution, their full-service moving service took POUNDS OF STRESS OFF MY SHOULDERS AND MY PLATE. Their entire company… their entire operation, sales agents.. customer service.. movers/drivers, etc were efficient, trustworthy, easy to work with, and proactive—exactly what all busy professionals need! For anyone who knows the logistics for a PCS move are complex and a lot to deal with, and their service exceeded our expectations. As a military family, we’ve navigated several relocations, and this company stood out for their professionalism, knowledge, detail-oriented, and understanding of military move requirements. And had the pre clearance done within 48hours so the movers could arrive and get onto the base at pickup and at delivery for the out of state move!! From start to finish, the entire team at Budget Moving Services was punctual, responsive, arriving on time for both pickup and delivery, which was critical given our tight timeline. The crew handled our belongings with great care, ensuring that everything—from our furniture to fragile items like our dining set—arrived in perfect condition. Their familiarity with military protocols, including coordination with the transportation office, made the process seamless and stress-free. The customer service team was responsive, quickly addressing our questions and accommodating a last-minute schedule change with ease. The movers were courteous and efficient, hardworking, friendly, and insane work-ethic and being able to talk and hold a conversation while handling the moving service for us—which made a big difference during the chaos of relocating. My assigned moving coordinator from the Budget moving services location in Lawrenceville, Georgia was incredibly helpful with the entire relocation process by not only asking me all of the important questions about my move, but also asking about specific items, room, and really just everything about the overall expectations I had, that way the movers were going to be able to deliver an overall high-quality experience in order to offer us the best possible moving experience with all of their different solution-based moving and packing services able to provide me and my family with a simple and convenient moving experience!! You could tell the staff and the movers really cared about offering us a high-quality experience! From the binding moving estimate, transparent pricing with NO hidden fees or upcharges and they let us reschedule when something came up without penalties. Their customer service and moving crews were fantastic. Antonio, Dee, Nicholas, and Michael aka “spikes” were very professional, courteous and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction and they truly EXCEEDED our expectations!
We hired Budget Moving Services to help relocate our work office to midtown Atlanta and Suwanee, GA for our long distance move from Charlotte, North Carolina. They diligently and professionally pad wrapped and Shrink wrapped all our furniture and boxed out TV, and handled our other fragile kitchen boxes/valuables with care. They were super thorough, careful, and quick. They thoroughly explained all the documentation and balance due. There was no upcharges or hidden fees, we did have one additional fee to pay for a long carry fee and for being on the 3rd story without an elevator at delivery, which we had to pay extra at delivery as the truck was more than 150 feet from our office building entrance but otherwise, there were no other hidden fees. They let us know a day before pickup and delivery and gave clear communication when they were 30 min-1hr out. The very great! Very professional, affordable, and the movers all did a solid job. Everything arrived safely with no damage. Would highly recommend and use again.
The team of movers from Budget Moving Services that was assigned to handle relocation services was amazing!! They were very organized and detailed, and we had them assist us with partial packing while they were moving our family from the apartment in Suwanee, Georgia; and then moved us into our new house that’s in Dawsonville, Georgia. The movers made our transition from the apartment into the household 100x easier than we expected — especially with the packing services (which also saved us about 3-4hrs of additional moving & packing boxes) and I want to make sure they know how much of a relief and a weight they took off our shoulders with helping with the last-minute packing service of the kitchen, garage, etc. The movers arrived 20min earlier than scheduled to do their walkthrough and get all their equipment out and ready for the moving services at pickup. they handled our furniture very carefully, had it professionally packed/wrapped to prevent any possible damages. Plus the entire team was efficient, hardworking, and organized from start to finish!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better team or an overall better experience from these guys at Budget Moving. The amount of stress and weight that i felt off my shoulders after they started working was much needed. We also used their packing services, which saved us an incredible amount of time (at least 4hrs plus countless amounts of boxes, tape, and patience). If you’re looking for highly skilled and experienced movers in Lawrenceville, I would 100% recommend them for any type of residential moves you have coming up — not to mention they were very affordable compared to other moving companies that are in the Gwinnett County & Hall County areas.
Budget moving services showed up within hours and managed to save the rest of my furniture from being thrown on the street because I was already past the move-out date dealing with an angry landlord over not returning my security deposit but that’s a different story for a different day; and I’m very grateful that Budget moving services was able to come out and offer me same-day moving for my move going from Suwanee, GA to Asheville, NC!! They each these 5-stars like crazy!!! Nicholas (owner) was the person I spoke to most of the time but while their prices are not bargain basement, you get more than what you pay for. The initial moving company charged much less but when it came time to get my items back pieces from my computer backpack were missing DVDs worth thousands of dollars didn't show up for almost 15/18 days… with no communication, and nothing was classified/organized and marked down. They simply grabbed my stuff through it in the back of a truck. So dealing with budget moving services and having people who cared was such a huge relief lol. Budget Moving Services is not only professionally ran by a single person who does all the backend work, dispatch, customer service, etc — but he runs the moving company and organization exactly how the customer would want it in my opinion… affordable, reliable and friendly movers who know what they are doing and are doing it properly, every item was boxed and marked and I saw it on a checklist before the move, during/after the move. I wish I had called them the first time I moved from Massachusetts to Suwanee, GA because of debacle that I ended up in with the “moving company/broker” and after using them vs budget moving services… I now know what questions to ask, and what to look for — and to avoid any company with the name Van Line in the name … I learned from the movers that’s just a fancy word for Moving Brokerage. first mover never would have happened if I had known that but ya live and ya learn. Andrew and Nicholas (budget moving company owner/operator) knows the story but I don't feel like revealing that in a public forum . For all you're moving, packing, and/or even storage needs I highly recommend Budget Moving Services in Gwinnett county. If you get Andrew as your moving foreman — Tell Andrew that him and his team are well known as "drews crew". He may or may not drop a discount from that, but at least you'll make him laugh. 💪🏻
Nicholas made the process very easy. He was very nice and professional. The pricing was a little on the higher side compared to other companies. But it was totally worth it. We got Phil, Monty, and. Trevor aa our movers and their crew was amazing. Respectful of us and our stuff. Hardworking crew, and very detailed and organized throughout the entire process. Will definitely be using them again.
I highly recommend Budget Moving Services. Nicholas the owner was super helpful and his movers Phil and David did a spectacular job. They were very efficient in moving everything around our house. Their price is also unbeatable. My move was a little different in that I had several pieces of furniture to move in my house. Then I needed a few things moved from my parents place, including a piano. Nicholas connected me to a piano mover who also tuned pianos, which was amazing. The guys came early and were done with moving all the pieces in about 45 minutes. A job would have taken my husband and I at least 2 to 3 hours. In addition, they brought back all the boxes, suitcases and furniture I asked for including one extra bookshelf. I appreciated how much they did! Thank you Nicholas, Phil and David!! Will definitely hire you all again for any future moves!
