The movers helped me get a treadmill and an elliptical from my garage into the new house. Those machines are heavy, but they handled them like pros. I'm glad I didn't try that myself.
Great care with framed glass art. All pieces were corner-padded, boxed vertically and kept out of contact with heavier furniture in the truck.
I definitely recommend this service if you don’t want any problems when moving. The crew showed up and immediately got to work on the heavy boxes that I couldn't lift by myself. They kept the truck clean and tidy while they organized our possessions for the trip. It was much faster than I expected, and they didn't take any long breaks. I cannot speak highly enough of the service that Amex Moving & Storage Movers provides. Our new home has quite steep stairs, yet they managed to get everything in there without a scratch. They completed the job in the allotted time and at a fair price.
Their service was of a higher grade than what I had anticipated. In fact, they were so helpful that they even gave me pointers on how to unload and get comfortable in my new home.
I moved from a second-floor unit into a smaller space nearby, and most of my furniture was old and awkwardly shaped. I had a long dresser and a metal bed frame that I couldn't disassemble on my own. The movers came prepared with tools and figured it all out without damaging anything. They even helped place the bed exactly where I needed it in the new place.
Moving out of my parents' house and into my first apartment was a challenging experience. The movers from my company discussed everything with me, including how to pack appliances, what items should be loaded first, and how to prevent damage during the move. It was very comforting for me!
