We had a great experience moving our one-bedroom apartment across the state. The three movers were exceptionally polite and energetic. They took apart the bed frame and put it back together at the new place perfectly. They even asked where I wanted the heavy boxes in the kitchen. I highly recommend them to everyone.
My parents moved from a family home to a smaller retirement home, with the assistance of this team. They were very patient and respectful, never rushing my parents. They arranged the furniture as per their directions and shifted a few pieces again until all the arrangements were perfect.
Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
Everyone from the office personnel to the movers on the actual moving day at Amex Moving & Storage was professional and efficient. They were very organized and prepared, and they had all the necessary tools and equipment. They tackled everything with ease and skill, and they made sure everything went perfectly. They also took great care of our belongings, especially our fragile items, such as our glass coffee table and our porcelain vase. They were very attentive and meticulous, and they checked everything before they left. They were very respectful and courteous, and they exceeded our expectations.
My first experience hiring movers with this company set high expectations. Their helpful and stress-free approach made the move a breeze.

Excellent experience! The movers helped us downsize to a condo. They helped identify what should go into storage versus what to bring now, and kept the whole move organized by color-coded tape. After delivery, they were also kind enough to help us with unpacking. Many thanks!
