I have become a huge fan of Amex Moving & Storage as a result of their great services and affordable costs. They don't provide false promises or scam individuals, which is a relief.
Not only were the movers tardy, but they also reeked of cigarette smoke. During their half hour smoke breaks, they lounged in my driveway, and i had to wait. Their lack of urgency and professionalism was shocking. Super frustrating experience!
I had a lot of fragile items to move, and I was worried about how they’d be handled. Amex Moving & Storage was careful and professional. They packed everything securely and made sure nothing was damaged during the move.
Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.

I hired their movers for a move, and they made it very easy. They showed up on time, packed up my furniture with care, and secured everything in the truck with protective barriers. They were also kind enough to help with furniture placement after delivery. It was a solid 5-star experience!

The staff members were polite and worked quickly in the heat. It was a very positive experience, and I will use them in the future as well.

Heavy furniture was moved without a scratch to the walls or floors. They stayed cheerful the entire time, even when moving heavier items up a narrow staircase. It's rare to find such a professional team that still makes the day feel easy.
It only took the movers four hours to move me into my cosy one-bedroom flat. Service and workers were the best I've ever seen. Because they were so careful with the packing, I could relax while they moved my 65-inch TV.
