I had a really good experience with Amex Moving & Storage last Tuesday. I was worried about my large mirror and some artwork, but the guys handled everything with a lot of care. It is such a relief to have all my fragile items in the new house without a single crack.
I moved from a second-floor apartment into a home with no elevator, which I thought would be a nightmare. The movers made it so easy. They were fast and didn’t hesitate with the heavy lifting. They even managed to get my bulky couch through a narrow hallway without issues. Everything was handled professionally and without damage. I was really impressed with the whole experience.
I did not have a lot of stuff, but the team treated my move like it was just as important as any big job. They were thorough and did not leave until everything was properly placed. That kind of movers are hard to find these days.
The crew showed up on a Tuesday morning and started loading the truck right away. I had a lot of loose items in the hallway that needed to be moved. They handled the boxes and placed them in the specific rooms I pointed out earlier. The team stayed until the job was finished late in the afternoon. My furniture arrived at the house in the same shape as it was before.
The movers helped me get a treadmill and an elliptical from my garage into the new house. Those machines are heavy, but they handled them like pros. I'm glad I didn't try that myself.
I'm giving them 5 stars for communication alone. The office sent text updates. The crew leader, Juan, called me 30 minutes before arrival. At the new place, he confirmed the room layout with me twice. Everyone knew the plan. We moved a king bed, two dressers, and a large sectional sofa. Everything went where it was supposed to.
It was a snowstorm when we decided to move. All kudos to this team. They installed runners throughout the home to keep the floors clean and also clean before leaving. They also managed to pack the truck before noon! No water or damage was caused in the process. They were extremely professional!
I had a move involving 3 stops and this company’s experts managed it perfectly. I was sure something would get mixed up. But the crew had a detailed checklist, color-coded tags, and triple-checked everything before leaving each site. Not one box went missing, and everything arrived in perfect order!
