We hired them on our neighbor’s recommendation and it was a fantastic experience! All our furniture, décor and crockery were meticulously wrapped and encased in cushioned boxes. We received everything in excellent condition!
I was really impressed by the service from this moving company. They arrived right on time and had everything ready to go. One of the movers noticed that I had a box of fragile kitchenware and handled it with extra care. The team was really fast but very careful with my items. They moved my queen-size mattress, which is always a hassle, without any issues. They also wrapped my leather chairs in protective plastic to keep them clean. What I liked the most was that they didn’t rush. They took their time making sure everything was packed properly in the truck. It made the entire process stress-free.
Their handling of my relocation from a suburban home to an apartment complex in the sky was faultless. They were really careful with my belongings and managed to get into the underground parking garage without damaging a thing.

I have no doubts about recommending this company. The movers carefully took apart and put back together all of my furniture and tools at the new house. They took care of everything; all I had to do was tell them where to mail the packages.

The movers made a great impression right from the start. They came with clean uniforms, a well-marked truck, and the right equipment. This was a cross-town move for my family of five. They carried three beds, a big sofa, and about 40 boxes without damaging anything. Everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. The whole job was finished earlier than promised.
What blew me away about Amex Moving & Storage was their meticulous attention to detail. When they arrived, they did a quick walkthrough of my home, noting any fragile or tricky items. I had a collection of delicate wine glasses that I was super anxious about, but they individually wrapped each one and packed them in a custom-sized box with dividers. My oversized mirror was double-wrapped in padding, and they secured the corners with special foam protectors. The team worked like a well-oiled machine, never wasting a second. At my new house, they assembled my bed frame and adjusted my wobbly nightstand before placing it down. It felt like they genuinely cared about my belongings, which made all the difference.
Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
