This company pays for fake reviews and doesn't allow any negative reviews to stay on any platform. All of their reviews are fake. Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.

delightful experience
Loved the service! I had several large and heavy furniture pieces, including a custom-made dining table and oversized sectional sofa. However, the movers didn’t flinch at the challenge, handling each piece with care. They navigated tricky doorways and stairs without any issues. I was very impressed with the service they provided!

I was hesitant about moving my collection of artwork, including large canvases and delicate sculptures. However, the team handled everything with exceptional care, using high-quality packing materials for security. When I arrived, I was overjoyed to see everything undamaged!

Beyond grateful!
Beyond grateful! I had to reschedule the move twice. Both times, the office staff was quick to make the changes and update my paperwork without pushing fees. When they finally moved, all my information was on hand, and it went smoothly!

They Took great care off My items
After selling my condo, I needed to move to a townhouse in another state. The movers packed my furniture tightly with blankets and straps, protecting my dining table's polished surface. Even after hours on the road, everything looked just as it had before. They placed each item exactly where I pointed, making the unpacking process much smoother.

Excellent service
My wife and I can't say enough about Amex Moving & Storage. The front office was a pleasure to work with and the crew that was sent to move our belongings was outstanding. I never saw four young men (Henry, kendry, Javier and Vicente) work so hard as they did. They were a "machine!" The move took just under 12 hours to complete and they busted their tails to the very end. They were very knowledgeable in dismantling our electronics, beds, shelving, etc. and reassembling everything perfectly. As the crew left one of the young men said, "tell your friends about us!" We most certainly will. Thank you once again!

David and James assessed the layout of both our ID and KS homes before starting the move. This strategic planning ensured that they maximized space in the moving truck, minimizing the number of trips required. They even pointed out potential challenges like low door frames, which they tackled with ease.

Reliable and trustworthy!!
The crew made sure to use padded covers for doorway frames and banisters when moving heavy furniture around in the house. The freshly painted walls had no marks or scuffs on them.
