My antique furniture arrived in superb shape to my loft condo in DE. The movers disassembled and packed the pieces thoroughly in furniture blankets. After delivery, they reassembled the pieces too without any extra charges. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
I have no doubts about recommending this company. The movers carefully took apart and put back together all of my furniture and tools at the new house. They took care of everything; all I had to do was tell them where to mail the packages.
I was grateful for the skills of Malvin and his team. They managed to move my heavy bed from my old place to my new one without any hassle. They dismantled and reassembled it quickly and smoothly. They also moved my mattress, pillows, sheets, and blankets without any stains or tears. They were very strong and fast.
Despite my little belongings, the movers were quite careful with them. From start to finish, the change was smooth sailing for both of us.
We had the most amazing experience with this company. Their movers delivered our belongings intact! The final bill was fair too!!
The crew made sure to use padded covers for doorway frames and banisters when moving heavy furniture around in the house. The freshly painted walls had no marks or scuffs on them.
A heavy safe is a literal pain to move, but the team from Amex Moving & Storage arrived with a heavy-duty dolly. They moved the heavy object through the front door with plenty of clearance. I was worried about my hardwood floors, but they used protective runners the entire time. The job finished faster than my last move. My heavy safe is now in the new place without any damage to it. The team was very professional and did not charge any upfront cost.
Trouble-free relocation. Even though my move took longer than expected, all my belongings arrived safely. I recommend them without reservation since they are the finest.
The movers made a great impression right from the start. They came with clean uniforms, a well-marked truck, and the right equipment. This was a cross-town move for my family of five. They carried three beds, a big sofa, and about 40 boxes without damaging anything. Everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. The whole job was finished earlier than promised.
