The team was really fast but very careful with my items
I was really impressed by the service from this moving company. They arrived right on time and had everything ready to go. One of the movers noticed that I had a box of fragile kitchenware and handled it with extra care. The team was really fast but very careful with my items. They moved my queen-size mattress, which is always a hassle, without any issues. They also wrapped my leather chairs in protective plastic to keep them clean. What I liked the most was that they didn’t rush. They took their time making sure everything was packed properly in the truck. It made the entire process stress-free.

extremely helpful and pleasant
I scheduled a same day move after finding a last minute rental. I did not have time to pack properly. The movers brought extra boxes and tape with them. They helped me pack my kitchen items and sealed everything securely. They kept track of smaller bags and did not leave anything behind. By evening, all my belongings were inside the new apartment and arranged room by room.

I strongly recommend their services.
I moved out of a duplex with steep, narrow stairs, and most of my furniture had to be angled and lifted carefully. The movers didn't rush anything and managed to get my sectional and tall dresser out without causing damage. Even when it took a few tries with the bigger pieces, they stayed patient and kept things calm. I was really happy with how it went.

Good Communication!!!
They were very careful with our white couch and mattress, even wearing gloves. Unlike other movers, it was spotless throughout.

To everyone at Amex Moving & Storage movers, you have my deepest gratitude for everything that you have done. They had transparent and accurate pricing, and the transaction was completed quickly. The movers worked efficiently and finished the job on time. I was astounded by how carefully they relocated my belongings, taking care not to damage the walls in the process.

Poor estimate and poor communication
Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.

FRAUD.
The entire fictional move took much longer than originally anticipated. Both loading and unloading seemed to lack an efficient plan. By the end, the extended schedule had become tiring and inconvenient. Better preparation could have made the relocation considerably smoother.

Couldn't have gone better.
This moving company was a lifesaver for my long-distance move. The team was punctual, organized, and skilled. They disassembled and reassembled my furniture with ease. The final cost was exactly as quoted, and they provided an exceptional service.
