Poor estimate and poor communication
Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.

I am so grateful to find such a great moving company
These movers provided a service that was excellent in every way. They took a boring and unpleasant task and made it much more bearable for me. I am quite proud of how the team of Amex Moving & Storage performed the task.

To everyone at Amex Moving & Storage movers, you have my deepest gratitude for everything that you have done. They had transparent and accurate pricing, and the transaction was completed quickly. The movers worked efficiently and finished the job on time. I was astounded by how carefully they relocated my belongings, taking care not to damage the walls in the process.

All did well
I was amazed at how well this moving and storage company did their job. Much extra work was done to ensure everything was moved and packed safely. Their storage unit was clean and safe, which gave me peace of mind. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who needs reliable moving and storage services.

Brave Movers
The first service we used was to move my flat. They helped us load a moving truck for an out-of-state move. They are quick, careful, and very professional when they pack, and their service is the best. The speed with which the move went through surprised us. They are very famous, so you should make your ticket beforehand.

They Took great care off My items
While relocating overseas, I was completely unprepared for the challenge of packing for such a dramatic life shift. They helped me decide what to send and what to keep, and they also gave me pointers on how to deal with customs processes. Their knowledge and experience were crucial.

Honest, reliable, reputable company!
Amex Moving & Storage handled my mom's move. She kept changing her mind about where to put furniture. Instead of rolling their eyes, they just moved it again. That kind of patience goes a long way in stressful times.
