This company pays for fake reviews and doesn't allow any negative reviews to stay on any platform. All of their reviews are fake. Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.
These movers are awesome. They moved everything from my apartment easily, even my grandma's old China set. The team was really friendly, and they finished the job quickly.
I cannot speak highly enough of the service that Amex Moving & Storage Movers provides. Our new home has quite steep stairs, yet they managed to get everything in there without a scratch. They completed the job in the allotted time and at a fair price.
These guys were AWESOME, from the sale team to customer service to the crew that showed up to do the actual moving service. My team was Henry Kendry and Javier. They were awesome. I LOVE everything about this company. This was my first time moving cross country and i will do it again with my eyes close with Amex. I am so glad I chose them over the other companies. Amex Moving & Storage stepped in when another company dropped the ball and didn’t even show up. I called them and they were on it. They quickly got things set up and out to me. I should have just gone with them in the first flipping place.
I booked them for a cross-country relocation. The thought of Moving everything that far was overwhelming, but Amex Moving & Storage moving experts made it manageable. They wrapped everything securely and even checked in during the transit. Everything made it intact, including my glass-top dining table. Will hire them again!
These movers were real pros. They knew the drill and had a knack for tackling tricky corners and narrow hallways. No dings or dents - just a job well done.
The movers helped me get a treadmill and an elliptical from my garage into the new house. Those machines are heavy, but they handled them like pros. I'm glad I didn't try that myself.
I moved into a fourth-floor apartment with no elevator. I thought the stairs would slow everything down, but the movers powered through and carried all my furniture up without a single complaint.
