I was hesitant about moving my collection of artwork, including large canvases and delicate sculptures. However, the team handled everything with exceptional care, using high-quality packing materials for security. When I arrived, I was overjoyed to see everything undamaged!
Our entire home office and bedroom set was easy to disassemble and reassemble because of their friendly manner and eagerness to help. We comfortably resided in our new house, thanks to their entire team.
This company pays for fake reviews and doesn't allow any negative reviews to stay on any platform. All of their reviews are fake. Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.

Dragged a metal dolly across my porch, leaving deep black marks that still haven’t come off. When I mentioned it, I got a quick Yeah, that happens before they moved on.
The movers provided excellent service; they showed up on time, had all the necessary packing materials, and were clearly prepared for the job. In a flash, they covered every dish and glass in my kitchen and left.
All my big furniture, delicate items and boxes were delivered undamaged. The team was courteous, attentive, and very cooperative.
Throughout the whole process, Amex Moving & Storage customer care team went above and beyond. They checked in regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly and addressed any concerns I had. When I mentioned I was worried about losing important documents, they provided me with a secure folder to keep them safe. This team did a great job with my belongings when I moved into my new place. They spent several hours loading the truck and made sure to secure the loose items, so nothing shifted on the road. I stayed in the driveway while they worked, and they just kept a steady pace until the house was empty. My stuff all got to the new house in the same condition as when it left the old place.
