I'm giving them 5 stars for communication alone. The office sent text updates. The crew leader, Juan, called me 30 minutes before arrival. At the new place, he confirmed the room layout with me twice. Everyone knew the plan. We moved a king bed, two dressers, and a large sectional sofa. Everything went where it was supposed to.
I scheduled a same day move after finding a last minute rental. I did not have time to pack properly. The movers brought extra boxes and tape with them. They helped me pack my kitchen items and sealed everything securely. They kept track of smaller bags and did not leave anything behind. By evening, all my belongings were inside the new apartment and arranged room by room.
The team from Amex Moving & Storage helped me with my long-distance move. They packed, loaded, and unloaded on the same day. They let me know what was happening and stayed busy throughout the process.
The moving process was well organized from start to finish. The crew arrived on time, handled everything with care, and completed the job within the estimated time. I appreciated their professionalism throughout the day.
I was initially impressed by the glowing reviews about AMEX Moving & Storage and decided to hire them for my move. What a mistake that was! The crew that showed up was unorganized and careless with my belongings. They damaged several pieces of furniture, and when I confronted them about it, they were unapologetic and tried to blame me for not packing better! The final bill was also much higher than what was quoted, with hidden fees that were never mentioned upfront. I feel misled and incredibly disappointed. I wish I had gone with a more reputable company.
Since our relocation occurred during a heat wave, I felt bad for the team. Having said that, they never once complained. Their grit, determination, and self-sufficiency were extremely inspiring; they even brought their own beverages and made sure I was okay the whole time.
I wholeheartedly recommend this company! From the initial phone conversation until the relocation day, they communicated well. The entire crew was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The relocation was rapid and efficient. Most notably, compared to previous movers, they were extremely cautious and took great care in transporting our stuff. It truly provided us with peace of mind.

A lot of rooms and boxes were part of our move. The team remained orderly during the move and ensured everything was covered.
I was sure my mattress could never go through the narrow spiral staircase at the new house. After a quick look, the movers managed to get the angle just right. It was like watching a real-life Tetris game. Neither the mattress nor the walls got scratched during the lift. The smoothness of the move still surprises me. For tough moves, I highly recommend these guys!
