The movers were professional and handled my belongings with great care throughout the entire process. Everything arrived on time, and the communication was excellent from start to finish.
It only took the movers four hours to move me into my cosy one-bedroom flat. Service and workers were the best I've ever seen. Because they were so careful with the packing, I could relax while they moved my 65-inch TV.
We were moving into our first home and had a mix of things from storage, family donations, and new purchases still in boxes. It wasn't the most organized move, and I was worried the crew would get frustrated. But they just rolled with it, asked clear questions, and figured out how to load things efficiently. Their calm attitude kept us calm too, which we needed that day.
Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.
When I move, I always hire movers. I coordinated my move with Vicente 2 weeks ago, and he was very humble and professional. The movers arrived at my storage facility promptly last morning and immediately began loading my belongings into the vehicle. As he laid down a runner to protect the carpet to bring my items inside, I was satisfied of their cleanliness. 5 stars service.
They arrived on time and transferred everything with care. We will be employing them for our upcoming move, and we will be recommending them to everyone we know.
I am really impressed with how they handled my move yesterday. I had a very large refrigerator that needed to be moved into a tight kitchen space. The team from Amex Moving & Storage was very careful not to scratch the new tile floors or the walls. They were very friendly and even double checked that the fridge was level before they left. It was a great experience, and I would definitely use them again for my next move.
Amex Moving & Storage is one of the best companies in town. They helped me pack and wrap all my appliances, crockery and electronics and all other huge items were safely packed by them. When we reached our new home, they unloaded, unpacked and set up all of them in my new home, which made the move very painless.
You should definitely consider these guys if you have a lot of random items that are hard to pack. They organized the truck so well that we actually had some extra space left over at the end. The move was very cautious on the road and made sure our belongings arrived safely. I am very happy with the price and the overall quality of the service we received today.
I had a difficult time due to my moving date changing last minute. The team was understanding and used the new timetable. Sometime on moving day, they were ready and they managed to load everything efficiently. I was thankful for their flexibility and professionalism.
