The service was phenomenal from the booking to the delivery! Henry was a great foreman, he was super helpful and diligent! The entire team was kind and I did not have to lift a finger! This team made my hectic move—across several states—easy!
Since our move had to take place on a Sunday, we were worried that no businesses would be open. Not only did they accommodate our needs, but they also showed there early and worked nonstop. They did not even tack on a weekend fee. Very affordable and very trustworthy.
We had to move out of state and needed help getting everything loaded for a long drive. I had already packed most of it, but I was nervous about the bigger furniture and how it would handle the trip. The movers wrapped and secured everything tightly. When it was unloaded days later, everything looked just like it did when it left. That peace of mind was worth it.
Amex Moving & Storage worked around our schedule, showed up early, and kept everything running on time. I liked how clear their communication was. Malvin checked in along the way and made sure delivery happened exactly when we needed it. They helped keep everything stress-free.
Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
My experience with Amex Moving & Storage was nothing short of excellent. We moved from a large house to a smaller one, which required a lot of planning. The crew, especially Kendry, was thoughtful and helped us decide what to move and how to best arrange it. Everything arrived safely and on schedule. I am extremely pleased.
Their preliminary evaluation was meticulous, with team members making extensive notes about everything that would need to be relocated. They gave a thorough quote that they stuck to throughout the project. They showed up on moving day on time and ready to work with a full toolset.
The movers showed up with plenty of moving blankets and sturdy straps to make sure the large appliances stayed secure during the drive across town. You can tell that Malvin knows exactly how to load a truck to prevent things from sliding around.
Recently, I used them for a short-notice move, and they were quite helpful throughout the whole process. There were no challenging tasks. Excellent work all around.
