This is going to be the only moving company we'll ever use!

Everyone from the office personnel to the movers on the actual moving day at Amex Moving & Storage was professional and efficient. They were very organized and prepared, and they had all the necessary tools and equipment. They tackled everything with ease and skill, and they made sure everything went perfectly. They also took great care of our belongings, especially our fragile items, such as our glass coffee table and our porcelain vase. They were very attentive and meticulous, and they checked everything before they left. They were very respectful and courteous, and they exceeded our expectations.

Very professional and caring.

I was worried about the fabric sofa when it started to rain while the transfer was happening. The movers wasted no time in applying a second layer of waterproof material to ensure its cleanliness and protection from moisture. Undoubtedly the finest!

All did well

I was amazed at how well this moving and storage company did their job. Much extra work was done to ensure everything was moved and packed safely. Their storage unit was clean and safe, which gave me peace of mind. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who needs reliable moving and storage services.

Terrible communication on important matters

Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
