With my stuff going on a long journey, the Amex Moving & Storage gave me real-time updates so I could chill. I knew where my furniture was at all times, which was a big relief.
Amex Moving & Storage is the best. I was really glad with their assistance in moving my warehouse. Their team's proficiency in coordinating massive relocations was remarkable. Everything from large machinery to fragile supplies was expertly and efficiently packed, loaded, and delivered.
I am changing my original review which was only on pickup not the entire process. I moved from NY to Florida. I researched different moving companies and compare it to moving myself. The POD didn’t have the size I needed. AMERISAFE gave me a great discount that equaled to the cost of renting a U-HAUL truck one way. But their service included loading and unloading the truck. The other companies were comparable without the discount. AMERISAFE is a broker an outsource to a moving company which you won’t be aware of to review. They outsource the people to unload and load the items. There were 2 issues that resulted because of this: delivery date and requirements of accessibility for the truck. Initially I was told when the items are picked up it will be delivered within 4 days however it took 2 weeks and I didn’t receive 24 hour notice. I requested to be informed when the items were on the way but didn’t get one. I put an AirTag in one of the boxes which is how I was able to track it. The other issue was I had to make sure that the place can accommodate an18 wheeler. I had to switch my storage unit to ensure that the truck has access or I would be charge $500 for shuttling my item. My stuff was loaded/unloaded 4 times before it came to me. When the items finally arrived, some boxes were damaged and some storage bins were broken. I haven’t had a chance to go through the items to see if anything was broken but that isn’t covered by them since I packed it myself. I can’t compare them to any others but what I know now I would of drove my items down myself.
My antique China cabinet was too large to fit through the main front door. The crew successfully hoisted it over the second-floor balcony. They handled the difficult rigging process with great professionalism and safety measures. It was a stressful moment, but they managed it perfectly.
Amex Moving & Storage was fantastic the first time I used them. Arriving quickly, Javier and his crew were wonderful to work with because they were careful with everything and worked efficiently. I will most certainly choose them again.
I had some unusual and fragile items that I really cared about, like a vintage guitar and a glass sculpture. I was worried about how they would survive the move, but Javier and Juan assured me they had it under control. Thanks to them, my delicate and oddly shaped items arrived at the new place in perfect condition.
A flawless experience! The movers handled our bulky furniture and delicate artwork with equal precision. Will definitely hire them again!
I am really impressed with how they handled my move yesterday. I had a very large refrigerator that needed to be moved into a tight kitchen space. The team from Amex Moving & Storage was very careful not to scratch the new tile floors or the walls. They were very friendly and even double checked that the fridge was level before they left. It was a great experience, and I would definitely use them again for my next move.
I was grateful for the skills of Malvin and his team. They managed to move my heavy bed from my old place to my new one without any hassle. They dismantled and reassembled it quickly and smoothly. They also moved my mattress, pillows, sheets, and blankets without any stains or tears. They were very strong and fast.
These movers provided a service that was excellent in every way. They took a boring and unpleasant task and made it much more bearable for me. I am quite proud of how the team of Amex Moving & Storage performed the task.
