This company pays for fake reviews and doesn't allow any negative reviews to stay on any platform. All of their reviews are fake. Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.

I’m impressed beyond measure at the service I got!
Amex Moving & Storage is one of the best companies in town. They helped me pack and wrap all my appliances, crockery and electronics and all other huge items were safely packed by them. When we reached our new home, they unloaded, unpacked and set up all of them in my new home, which made the move very painless.

Pleasant and Proficient!
Moving my art gallery was nerve-wracking, but they brought crates, wrapped each sculpture and canvas properly, and even helped place items in the new space with care.

Super professional and fast service
Despite my concerns regarding the schedule, these movers arrived exactly when they said they would. They started the job on time and finished it faster than expected because they did not cut corners. Such consistency is unusual these days.

extremely helpful and pleasant
I scheduled a same day move after finding a last minute rental. I did not have time to pack properly. The movers brought extra boxes and tape with them. They helped me pack my kitchen items and sealed everything securely. They kept track of smaller bags and did not leave anything behind. By evening, all my belongings were inside the new apartment and arranged room by room.

My expectations were not only met, but exceeded, by the moving assistance. From what I've seen, there are plenty of reliable movers who will actually do the job as promised. Being well-prepared and knowledgeable, their moving crew knew just what to do to ensure a smooth relocation. My loved ones will hear good things about these people from me.

I wholeheartedly recommend this company! From the initial phone conversation until the relocation day, they communicated well. The entire crew was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The relocation was rapid and efficient. Most notably, compared to previous movers, they were extremely cautious and took great care in transporting our stuff. It truly provided us with peace of mind.

The move itself goes off without a hitch. The messenger service works effectively in the vast majority of instances. It was a pleasure to work with them. I was pleasantly pleased by how little it cost to run. Suggested.

Cool Guyz.
I definitely recommend this service if you don’t want any problems when moving. The crew showed up and immediately got to work on the heavy boxes that I couldn't lift by myself. They kept the truck clean and tidy while they organized our possessions for the trip. It was much faster than I expected, and they didn't take any long breaks. Amex Moving & Storage provides a solid service for a price that actually makes sense for a normal person.
