They were very responsive!
Due to a job transfer, I had to move in a hurry. The movers that I used showed up fully prepared and didn't waste any time chatting. They took the bed frame apart in minutes and kept all the hardware in a labeled bag for the other end. All the boxes were stacked neatly in the van to maximize the space. They reassembled all the things at the new place and made sure the path was clear before leaving. I would suggest calling this team if you plan to move soon.

Very happy customer.
I needed to clear out my storage unit and move it into my new place across town. I had no clue how to stack things safely in the truck, but they clearly did. They made sure the heavier stuff went in first and tied things down so nothing slid. The drive wasn’t far, but the way they handled things made me feel a lot more confident about it.

Poor estimate and poor communication
Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.

Smooth move
Kendry and his team were outstanding! I highly recommend them. They were so careful with my things. Very efficient. I hope to not move for a long time- but would like their help to move if I need them in the future. Keep up the great work 👍👍

delightful experience
Loved the service! I had several large and heavy furniture pieces, including a custom-made dining table and oversized sectional sofa. However, the movers didn’t flinch at the challenge, handling each piece with care. They navigated tricky doorways and stairs without any issues. I was very impressed with the service they provided!

Simple, Seamless and Satisfactory!!!
The movers from Amex Moving & Storage made my move so easy. They handled my furniture like pros and packed the truck neatly. When they arrived, they unloaded everything just as carefully. They even asked where I wanted each box. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. I’m super happy with their service.

Very hard working group of guys
Contact this team for your relocation needs because they did a great job for me. They finished the entire project few hours from start to finish. I had a lot of loose gear and packed boxes that needed to go to my new apartment. The crew handled the loading process and the transport without any issues. The service met my requirements, and these guys deserve every five-star rating they get.

My transition to the new apartment was handled with a lot of care by the entire crew. Amex Moving & Storage made sure that all of the boxes were placed in the correct rooms, so I didn't have to move them again later.

Avoid this company at all costs.
When looking for movers I fell for the AMEX scam, thinking their glowing reviews were real when they are not. I had incorrectly assumed this was a company with its own intake, movers, and drivers, instead Michelle acts as logistics working with outside contractors. During our intake call with Patrick (who is a sales broker NOT an AMEX employee), I provided a detailed itemized list of everything in the move (including dimensions for furniture) with video and photos. We were quoted 960 cubic feet at around $8k for a full pack and move. We paid the deposit and were told we would receive our items in our move-in date, which was a LIE. Additionally, we were not told upfront that the last two payments had to be in money orders. On the day of the move, Austin showed up with 2 men in an AMEX truck. Though they all had AMEX shirts, it was clear that Austin was a contractor that had then found 2 people to work with him. After his walk through, Austin told us we were under quoted and said we needed at least 1500, which would take us to $12k. We were obviously upset and immediately called Michelle. She was absolutely no help in the situation, pretending not to understand why we would be mad at suddenly having to pay $4k more. Having no choice, we went on with the packing and move. It took the 3 men 11 hours. And, as we would find out later why, we ended up having to leave behind 8 pieces of furniture because we would have needed even more space in the truck. We had to scramble to sell things and lost so much money doing so. During this day of hell, we were also told that we would NOT be receiving our items on our move in day - that they have to wait for a truck to be going that direction to put our stuff on. Had we been told that before, we would have been more strategic in what we did NOT pack and to keep with us! We had to continually call and text Michelle for updates as to where our stuff was, because, we had put AirTags in some boxes we knew they hadn’t left yet. At our new home, we had to buy air mattresses and other essentials while we waited two weeks for our stuff to arrive. We also had to buy almost all new furniture. Not only was the move itself overly expensive, we ended up spending thousands more to replace to furniture we had to leave behind. The 2 men who arrived with our belongings, were also clearly contractors. While unloading, they continually mentioned how lightweight the boxes were, how many of the boxes were misshaped because they were not full, and how certain materials were placed in the wrong boxes. They asked if we had packed ourselves and were shocked to hear we had paid AMEX for packing. As we began to unpack, we found that at least 75% of the boxes were half full. Meaning, our items would have taken up less space if the boxes had actually been packed to capacity. This is a complete SCAM and utterly unacceptable. We also found broken glassware, broken mirrors, bent books, and other damaged objects, because, again, the boxes were not packed correctly. This horrible packing cost us thousands of dollars in cubic square feet. This “company” is, at its core, dishonest. They scam you into thinking they are legitimate, when in fact, no one, except Michelle, actually works at AMEX.

A very gentle process!
My piano was hard to move from ND to CO, but Amex Moving & Storage made it look easy. They got my piano safely and helped me put it up at my new place. Highly recommended service.
