We had to move a couple of heavy items which would not have been easily moved by hand. The movers did a great job and handled the heavier items properly.
I moved out of a duplex with steep, narrow stairs, and most of my furniture had to be angled and lifted carefully. The movers didn't rush anything and managed to get my sectional and tall dresser out without causing damage. Even when it took a few tries with the bigger pieces, they stayed patient and kept things calm. I was really happy with how it went.
Javier and the rest of the Amex Moving & Storage staff did an excellent job. Everything was loaded into boxes and ready for moving. The team constructed and dismantled each equipment carefully, and the service was quick and effective.
Their communication game was really strong! My move operator who took my booking followed up a day before the move just to reconfirm details and timing. That simple check-in really helped with peace of mind. On moving day, the team was right on time and worked like clockwork as well. They did a brilliant job!
Highly recommend this team if you have heavy furniture. They brought all the right tools and ramps to move my upright piano and heavy oak wardrobes safely. Amex Moving & Storage made a difficult task look easy, and I’m very happy that my floors didn't get scuffed up in the process.
I'm giving them 5 stars for communication alone. The office sent text updates. The crew leader, Juan, called me 30 minutes before arrival. At the new place, he confirmed the room layout with me twice. Everyone knew the plan. We moved a king bed, two dressers, and a large sectional sofa. Everything went where it was supposed to.
This is my initial move with Amex Moving & Storage. Both of my movers arrived promptly, worked quickly, were courteous, and did a great job. Every single item of furniture and personal possession was painstakingly wrapped and packed. This is a company that I fully support.
