There are not enough positive things to say about these movers—they were fantastic! They were complete pros from the minute they arrived. They ensured everything was safe in the truck and meticulously packed all my belongings. My relocation went off without a hitch because of them.
The first service we used was to move my flat. They helped us load a moving truck for an out-of-state move. They are quick, careful, and very professional when they pack, and their service is the best. The speed with which the move went through surprised us. They are very famous, so you should make your ticket beforehand.
We were moving into our first home and had a mix of things from storage, family donations, and new purchases still in boxes. It wasn't the most organized move, and I was worried the crew would get frustrated. But they just rolled with it, asked clear questions, and figured out how to load things efficiently. Their calm attitude kept us calm too, which we needed that day.
This company has a good reputation for being a reliable mover. Very good value for the money. I've already used them twice this year, and both times were great. Good job, boys! Because safety was their main concern, they got my furniture to the new house in mint condition.
Javier and the rest of the Amex Moving & Storage staff did an excellent job. Everything was loaded into boxes and ready for moving. The team constructed and dismantled each equipment carefully, and the service was quick and effective.
Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
