Poor estimate and poor communication
Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.

Cool Guyz.
I definitely recommend this service if you don’t want any problems when moving. The crew showed up and immediately got to work on the heavy boxes that I couldn't lift by myself. They kept the truck clean and tidy while they organized our possessions for the trip. It was much faster than I expected, and they didn't take any long breaks. Amex Moving & Storage provides a solid service for a price that actually makes sense for a normal person.

Couldn't have gone better.
This moving company was a lifesaver for my long-distance move. The team was punctual, organized, and skilled. They disassembled and reassembled my furniture with ease. The final cost was exactly as quoted, and they provided an exceptional service.

Extremely professional gentlemen.
Amex Moving & Storage worked around our schedule, showed up early, and kept everything running on time. I liked how clear their communication was. Malvin checked in along the way and made sure delivery happened exactly when we needed it. They helped keep everything stress-free.

I hired Amex Moving & Storage to transport the contents of my two-bedroom apartment to a location. The men showed up on time, were kind and helpful, and worked hard to pack everything. Highest quality service.

I strongly recommend their services.
We were moving into our first home and had a mix of things from storage, family donations, and new purchases still in boxes. It wasn't the most organized move, and I was worried the crew would get frustrated. But they just rolled with it, asked clear questions, and figured out how to load things efficiently. Their calm attitude kept us calm too, which we needed that day.

Trouble-free relocation. Even though my move took longer than expected, all my belongings arrived safely. I recommend them without reservation since they are the finest.

We were grateful to have him in charge of our move.
I was REALLY happy because the whole process was really easy! My husband left the military, so we had to move our stuff from NY to DE. They called us when the truck was loaded and on its way. Our things were carefully unloaded at our new home.

Super PRECISE and ON TIME!
The movers helped me get a treadmill and an elliptical from my garage into the new house. Those machines are heavy, but they handled them like pros. I'm glad I didn't try that myself.

Javier and the rest of the Amex Moving & Storage staff did an excellent job. Everything was loaded into boxes and ready for moving. The team constructed and dismantled each equipment carefully, and the service was quick and effective.
