I was REALLY happy because the whole process was really easy! My husband left the military, so we had to move our stuff from NY to DE. They called us when the truck was loaded and on its way. Our things were carefully unloaded at our new home.
I had a pile of soft toys, a mountain of odd furniture and a host of little tools in my art studio. AMEX Moving & Storage's crew labeled my tool drawers without being asked, and every canvas was filled with foam, and the shelving was tied down so nothing moved during the trip. It couldn't have been a better one!
We were forced to relocate a home office, alongside our possessions. The movers kept all items together so there would be no damage to the desk, chair, monitor boxes etc. That helped to make everything a little simpler when it came to setting up at the new location.
I had a move involving 3 stops and this company’s experts managed it perfectly. I was sure something would get mixed up. But the crew had a detailed checklist, color-coded tags, and triple-checked everything before leaving each site. Not one box went missing, and everything arrived in perfect order!
Genuinely kind people, that's for sure. Today, they really went out of their way to help me. The guys' competence, politeness, and genuine desire to help me as a customer blew my mind.
I was sure my mattress could never go through the narrow spiral staircase at the new house. After a quick look, the movers managed to get the angle just right. It was like watching a real-life Tetris game. Neither the mattress nor the walls got scratched during the lift. The smoothness of the move still surprises me. For tough moves, I highly recommend these guys!
The moving crew was a delight to collaborate with. We used the services of 3 movers to transport two-bedroom apartment. They showed there when they said they would, were careful with our possessions, and packed and loaded everything swiftly. We greatly appreciate the team's efforts in ensuring a seamless transition for us!
The movers helped me get a treadmill and an elliptical from my garage into the new house. Those machines are heavy, but they handled them like pros. I'm glad I didn't try that myself.
