Moving out of my parents' house and into my first apartment was a challenging experience. The movers from my company discussed everything with me, including how to pack appliances, what items should be loaded first, and how to prevent damage during the move. It was very comforting for me!
I am changing my original review which was only on pickup not the entire process. I moved from NY to Florida. I researched different moving companies and compare it to moving myself. The POD didn’t have the size I needed. AMERISAFE gave me a great discount that equaled to the cost of renting a U-HAUL truck one way. But their service included loading and unloading the truck. The other companies were comparable without the discount. AMERISAFE is a broker an outsource to a moving company which you won’t be aware of to review. They outsource the people to unload and load the items. There were 2 issues that resulted because of this: delivery date and requirements of accessibility for the truck. Initially I was told when the items are picked up it will be delivered within 4 days however it took 2 weeks and I didn’t receive 24 hour notice. I requested to be informed when the items were on the way but didn’t get one. I put an AirTag in one of the boxes which is how I was able to track it. The other issue was I had to make sure that the place can accommodate an18 wheeler. I had to switch my storage unit to ensure that the truck has access or I would be charge $500 for shuttling my item. My stuff was loaded/unloaded 4 times before it came to me. When the items finally arrived, some boxes were damaged and some storage bins were broken. I haven’t had a chance to go through the items to see if anything was broken but that isn’t covered by them since I packed it myself. I can’t compare them to any others but what I know now I would of drove my items down myself.
Genuinely kind people, that's for sure. Today, they really went out of their way to help me. The guys' competence, politeness, and genuine desire to help me as a customer blew my mind.
I had a difficult time due to my moving date changing last minute. The team was understanding and used the new timetable. Sometime on moving day, they were ready and they managed to load everything efficiently. I was thankful for their flexibility and professionalism.
This was my first time using professional movers and AMEX Moving made the experience seamless! We packed our clothes and small items ourselves prior to moving day but Amex Moving did the rest - carefully wrapping our furniture, Frame TV, and disassembling and re-assembling our bed frame with their own tools. Everything arrived safely and with no damage! We have two small dogs and the team made our pups feel safe and gave us more time to tend to them during a process that can be scary to two small Italian greyhounds. Can't recommend this service enough and will definitely be using them again for our future moves!

The movers made a great impression right from the start. They came with clean uniforms, a well-marked truck, and the right equipment. This was a cross-town move for my family of five. They carried three beds, a big sofa, and about 40 boxes without damaging anything. Everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. The whole job was finished earlier than promised.
My expectations were not only met, but exceeded, by the moving assistance. From what I've seen, there are plenty of reliable movers who will actually do the job as promised. Being well-prepared and knowledgeable, their moving crew knew just what to do to ensure a smooth relocation. My loved ones will hear good things about these people from me.
I just moved into my first place and only had furniture, no boxes of stuff. I hired Amex Moving & Storage just to haul the big items. I had a heavy metal desk and a giant TV cabinet I couldn't lift alone. The two young guys who showed up were full of energy and very careful with the freshly painted walls in the new apartment. They worked quickly, and the entire move was finished in less than two hours.
Recently, movers handled the relocation of a large wardrobe with professionalism, ensuring a smooth and damage-free process. The service was straightforward and efficient.
