I was grateful for the skills of Malvin and his team. They managed to move my heavy bed from my old place to my new one without any hassle. They dismantled and reassembled it quickly and smoothly. They also moved my mattress, pillows, sheets, and blankets without any stains or tears. They were very strong and fast.

I hired this moving company to help me move so I could start a new job. They offered complete and effective services for moving businesses. They were good at everything they did, from loading to emptying. Their help putting the furniture where it belonged at the new place made the move go smoothly.
I had to move unexpectedly and it was not clear who would be there for me. They accommodated us in their plans and assisted us in moving all our things. I did not have much time to arrange anything and was relieved.
Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.
Amex Moving & Storage handled my mom's move. She kept changing her mind about where to put furniture. Instead of rolling their eyes, they just moved it again. That kind of patience goes a long way in stressful times.
I hired Amex Moving & Storage to move my office furniture from one building to another downtown. The desks and filing cabinets were heavy and awkward to carry, but the team never complained once. They even set everything back up in the new space so I could start working the same day without doing any extra lifting myself.
Despite my little belongings, the movers were quite careful with them. From start to finish, the change was smooth sailing for both of us.
Trouble-free relocation. Even though my move took longer than expected, all my belongings arrived safely. I recommend them without reservation since they are the finest.
