My antique furniture arrived in superb shape to my loft condo in DE. The movers disassembled and packed the pieces thoroughly in furniture blankets. After delivery, they reassembled the pieces too without any extra charges. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
It was a snowstorm when we decided to move. All kudos to this team. They installed runners throughout the home to keep the floors clean and also clean before leaving. They also managed to pack the truck before noon! No water or damage was caused in the process. They were extremely professional!
Amex Moving & Storage handled my mom's move. She kept changing her mind about where to put furniture. Instead of rolling their eyes, they just moved it again. That kind of patience goes a long way in stressful times.
Even though I was unfamiliar with them, this company efficiently transported all of my possessions. They efficiently packed all my furniture, cleared out my entire flat, and loaded my possessions into the truck in few hours. They arrived promptly and efficiently stored my belongings as scheduled.
You should definitely consider these guys if you have a lot of random items that are hard to pack. They organized the truck so well that we actually had some extra space left over at the end. The move was very cautious on the road and made sure our belongings arrived safely. I am very happy with the price and the overall quality of the service we received today.

When I move, I always hire movers. I coordinated my move with Vicente 2 weeks ago, and he was very humble and professional. The movers arrived at my storage facility promptly last morning and immediately began loading my belongings into the vehicle. As he laid down a runner to protect the carpet to bring my items inside, I was satisfied of their cleanliness. 5 stars service.
I am changing my original review which was only on pickup not the entire process. I moved from NY to Florida. I researched different moving companies and compare it to moving myself. The POD didn’t have the size I needed. AMERISAFE gave me a great discount that equaled to the cost of renting a U-HAUL truck one way. But their service included loading and unloading the truck. The other companies were comparable without the discount. AMERISAFE is a broker an outsource to a moving company which you won’t be aware of to review. They outsource the people to unload and load the items. There were 2 issues that resulted because of this: delivery date and requirements of accessibility for the truck. Initially I was told when the items are picked up it will be delivered within 4 days however it took 2 weeks and I didn’t receive 24 hour notice. I requested to be informed when the items were on the way but didn’t get one. I put an AirTag in one of the boxes which is how I was able to track it. The other issue was I had to make sure that the place can accommodate an18 wheeler. I had to switch my storage unit to ensure that the truck has access or I would be charge $500 for shuttling my item. My stuff was loaded/unloaded 4 times before it came to me. When the items finally arrived, some boxes were damaged and some storage bins were broken. I haven’t had a chance to go through the items to see if anything was broken but that isn’t covered by them since I packed it myself. I can’t compare them to any others but what I know now I would of drove my items down myself.
With my stuff going on a long journey, the Amex Moving & Storage gave me real-time updates so I could chill. I knew where my furniture was at all times, which was a big relief.
