Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
The moving crew was a delight to collaborate with. We used the services of 3 movers to transport two-bedroom apartment. They showed there when they said they would, were careful with our possessions, and packed and loaded everything swiftly. We greatly appreciate the team's efforts in ensuring a seamless transition for us!
I had been fretting about relocating our big, heavy upright piano but the crew seemed to know exactly what they were doing. They were equipped with special harnesses and knew their way around narrow passages. All was well, we arrived with nothing broken.
Amex Moving & Storage moving services totally rocked my world! Last year's movers were a complete disaster compared to this awesome crew. They actually cared about my stuff, including my precious deep fryer, electric heater, and steamer!!
I cannot speak highly enough of the service that Amex Moving & Storage Movers provides. Our new home has quite steep stairs, yet they managed to get everything in there without a scratch. They completed the job in the allotted time and at a fair price.
The movers helped me get a treadmill and an elliptical from my garage into the new house. Those machines are heavy, but they handled them like pros. I'm glad I didn't try that myself.
