Javier and the rest of the Amex Moving & Storage staff did an excellent job. Everything was loaded into boxes and ready for moving. The team constructed and dismantled each equipment carefully, and the service was quick and effective.
I had a really good experience with Amex Moving & Storage last Tuesday. I was worried about my large mirror and some artwork, but the guys handled everything with a lot of care. It is such a relief to have all my fragile items in the new house without a single crack.
I am changing my original review which was only on pickup not the entire process. I moved from NY to Florida. I researched different moving companies and compare it to moving myself. The POD didn’t have the size I needed. AMERISAFE gave me a great discount that equaled to the cost of renting a U-HAUL truck one way. But their service included loading and unloading the truck. The other companies were comparable without the discount. AMERISAFE is a broker an outsource to a moving company which you won’t be aware of to review. They outsource the people to unload and load the items. There were 2 issues that resulted because of this: delivery date and requirements of accessibility for the truck. Initially I was told when the items are picked up it will be delivered within 4 days however it took 2 weeks and I didn’t receive 24 hour notice. I requested to be informed when the items were on the way but didn’t get one. I put an AirTag in one of the boxes which is how I was able to track it. The other issue was I had to make sure that the place can accommodate an18 wheeler. I had to switch my storage unit to ensure that the truck has access or I would be charge $500 for shuttling my item. My stuff was loaded/unloaded 4 times before it came to me. When the items finally arrived, some boxes were damaged and some storage bins were broken. I haven’t had a chance to go through the items to see if anything was broken but that isn’t covered by them since I packed it myself. I can’t compare them to any others but what I know now I would of drove my items down myself.
I hired Amex Moving & Storage to transport the contents of my two-bedroom apartment to a location. The men showed up on time, were kind and helpful, and worked hard to pack everything. Highest quality service.

Vicente noticed that one of my boxes was not sealed properly and fixed it before loading it onto the truck. Small thing, but it saved me from finding broken stuff on the other end. It was a solid overall professional move.
Outstanding work ethic! They only rested briefly and completed the work an hour early. It was a very positive experience.
