The weight of these boxes and the risk of spine damage from improper stacking concerned me. The genre arrangement made it simpler to move them to my shelf. When we arrived at my new address, they carefully unloaded and stacked each mini-box. I appreciated how they listened to my labeling requests and didn't damage any book covers.

You should definitely consider these guys if you have a lot of random items that are hard to pack. They organized the truck so well that we actually had some extra space left over at the end. The move was very cautious on the road and made sure our belongings arrived safely. I am very happy with the price and the overall quality of the service we received today.
5 stars is not even enough!!! First time using a moving company and it was such a great experience. They were so great to work with. Alex team who came to pack up our home was phenomenal!! This company pays for fake reviews and doesn't allow any negative reviews to stay on any platform. All of their reviews are fake. Do not recommend whatsoever. My family and I used AMEX moving when moving from Connecticut to North Carolina in August. At first all seemed well, and things were packed up completely. Items were combined from different rooms at the time and scattered into random boxes but we did not mind. We actually had a 5 star review up for this company until a few days ago. Which I should also note that the employee who was in charge of all our paperwork actually asked me to write the 5 star review and submit it right in front of her, which is why it was posted immediately and up for several months. However, now several months later we are opening up all the boxes as we finally moved into our final location, and several items are damaged and lost. My mother had several boxes of decorative plants, most of which were forcibly shoved into boxes with no paper or wrapping, resulting in them snapping in half or losing majority of their leaves/flowers. Almost all had to be thrown out We are also missing a box with a large set of crystal drinking glasses, and who knows what else was in that box. But worst of all, we are missing all of my childhood toys. I have been collecting stuffed animals since I was a little girl, and the entire set, which I had packed myself, left just for AMEX to move, is missing. Along with that, my DISNEY Lego collection which is probably worth hundreds on top of the many Disney plushies already gone is also missing. After calling the company to ask for help, not even compensation or anything, just because I would like my lost items if they have them, I was given the number to file a claim. Mind you claims are only valid 9 months from the move date, and if you know all the items within the missing boxes (pretty convenient that they mixed around items from our household into each box so we have no idea what is in each one). Complaining or asking for compensation is the last thing my family is looking for, we just want our lost items back, but it is extremely disappointing we are missing all these items in the first place. Would not recommend and I am extremely upset with the service.
The AM staff was on time and worked rapidly, which pleased me. They were professionals, and nothing was scratched or broken. I was pleased with the cooperative and pleasant employees. Team, I'm grateful.
My long-distance relocation was excellent. Amex Moving & Storage stayed on time, communicated clearly, and delivered all items safely and securely. Fragile pieces were wrapped securely, and I felt comfortable knowing my belongings were in the right hands.
The movers were friendly, but never lost their focus. They managed to work effectively, communicate with each other and with each item, and treat them with care.
I am changing my original review which was only on pickup not the entire process. I moved from NY to Florida. I researched different moving companies and compare it to moving myself. The POD didn’t have the size I needed. AMERISAFE gave me a great discount that equaled to the cost of renting a U-HAUL truck one way. But their service included loading and unloading the truck. The other companies were comparable without the discount. AMERISAFE is a broker an outsource to a moving company which you won’t be aware of to review. They outsource the people to unload and load the items. There were 2 issues that resulted because of this: delivery date and requirements of accessibility for the truck. Initially I was told when the items are picked up it will be delivered within 4 days however it took 2 weeks and I didn’t receive 24 hour notice. I requested to be informed when the items were on the way but didn’t get one. I put an AirTag in one of the boxes which is how I was able to track it. The other issue was I had to make sure that the place can accommodate an18 wheeler. I had to switch my storage unit to ensure that the truck has access or I would be charge $500 for shuttling my item. My stuff was loaded/unloaded 4 times before it came to me. When the items finally arrived, some boxes were damaged and some storage bins were broken. I haven’t had a chance to go through the items to see if anything was broken but that isn’t covered by them since I packed it myself. I can’t compare them to any others but what I know now I would of drove my items down myself.
