Hiring them was the best decision I made. I was going through a lot personally around the time of the move, and my energy for dealing with logistics was basically zero. The team required almost nothing from me on the day except to tell them where things were going. I sat in the kitchen with a coffee for most of it, and by the time I had processed what was happening, the move was already done.
I had a pile of soft toys, a mountain of odd furniture and a host of little tools in my art studio. AMEX Moving & Storage's crew labeled my tool drawers without being asked, and every canvas was filled with foam, and the shelving was tied down so nothing moved during the trip. It couldn't have been a better one!
Everyone from the office personnel to the movers on the actual moving day at Amex Moving & Storage was professional and efficient. They were very organized and prepared, and they had all the necessary tools and equipment. They tackled everything with ease and skill, and they made sure everything went perfectly. They also took great care of our belongings, especially our fragile items, such as our glass coffee table and our porcelain vase. They were very attentive and meticulous, and they checked everything before they left. They were very respectful and courteous, and they exceeded our expectations.
The movers showed up with plenty of moving blankets and sturdy straps to make sure the large appliances stayed secure during the drive across town. You can tell that Malvin knows exactly how to load a truck to prevent things from sliding around.
The experience was really satisfying. Having Malvin's movers take care of my move was very pleasant. I was really impressed by how knowledgeable and professional they were. They provided the best of the best service.

I was initially impressed by the glowing reviews about AMEX Moving & Storage and decided to hire them for my move. What a mistake that was! The crew that showed up was unorganized and careless with my belongings. They damaged several pieces of furniture, and when I confronted them about it, they were unapologetic and tried to blame me for not packing better! The final bill was also much higher than what was quoted, with hidden fees that were never mentioned upfront. I feel misled and incredibly disappointed. I wish I had gone with a more reputable company.
I had a really good experience with Amex Moving & Storage last Tuesday. I was worried about my large mirror and some artwork, but the guys handled everything with a lot of care. It is such a relief to have all my fragile items in the new house without a single crack.
These guys were packing experts! They provided plenty of sturdy moving supplies, including mattress covers and furniture blankets.
