We had several large and heavy pieces of furniture, and I was concerned about how they would be moved. The movers handled everything smoothly and carefully. They also paid attention to the walls and railings.
I was hesitant about moving my collection of artwork, including large canvases and delicate sculptures. However, the team handled everything with exceptional care, using high-quality packing materials for security. When I arrived, I was overjoyed to see everything undamaged!
Excellent service throughout the move. They moved me within two hours and packed and arranged everything into my new home as well.
Within 30 minutes of the packers and their supervisor arriving I was told that I had much more than was listed and I would be charged an additional $1600. She said this without any evidence of any items that were not listed. This is after going over the list of items three times with the agent, even adding items. Moving is stressful and I am not young. I felt that I was being taken advantage of, moving day, house was sold! I had a melt down and told her that it was not right. She did not charge me and acted like she was doing me a favor, repeating, 'now are you happy'. They were not honest about all of the transfers to other trucks to transport my belonging to storage. When my things finally arrived at my new address, the truck did not even look road worthy and had leaked during the trip, staining furniture. Some of the boxes that arrived no longer had square corners. It was the worse moving experience I have ever encountered and would never recommend them.
After selling my condo, I needed to move to a townhouse in another state. The movers packed my furniture tightly with blankets and straps, protecting my dining table's polished surface. Even after hours on the road, everything looked just as it had before. They placed each item exactly where I pointed, making the unpacking process much smoother.
The movers were friendly, but never lost their focus. They managed to work effectively, communicate with each other and with each item, and treat them with care.
I had a difficult time due to my moving date changing last minute. The team was understanding and used the new timetable. Sometime on moving day, they were ready and they managed to load everything efficiently. I was thankful for their flexibility and professionalism.
