Worst Nightmare Come True
Our experience with Amerisafe was a complete nightmare. When we first contacted them, they were incredibly helpful. Once they have your deposit, don’t expect to hear from them again. They failed multiple times to return calls and emails. They made promises they couldn’t keep, and the carrier did not care what Amerisafe had promised. Expect your costs to double, even when you try to give them the most accurate information. This company is what gives moving brokers and companies a bad name. There is nothing ‘safe’ about AmeriSAFE. Absolute worst experience ever!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - Don't have my stuff over a 1.5 months later
Literally a terrible experience all around. Please read this whole thing, I genuinely have no words to describe how awful this has been. First - they quoted us a lower price, then arrived and tried to upcharge. Second - they arrived, looked at my apartment (even though we'd already given an estimate and detailed list of what would be moved), and said they couldn't do it because they didn't have enough space in the van, or enough time. They said they didn't know it wasn't all going to be packed already and didn't bring any boxes or tape. We HAD paid for a full pack and move. They LEFT and didn't come back until the next day, which meant I had to move my flight as I was supposed to be leaving the next day but needed to stay to direct the movers. I also ended up packing more than half the stuff myself, as there was a time crunch, and I was still paying them for "full pack" even though they didn't do most of it. Third - the people AmeriSafe contracted only spoke Spanish and couldn't communicate with me. As such, when I told them to be careful with fragile items, like my PC, they didn't understand me. I watched them drop my $4,000 PC on the ground, and then shove it into the box unceremoniously. Fourth - they didn't label any of the boxes, so I have no idea what was in anything. Five - it's been well over a month and a half, and I have no update on where my stuff is. Last I heard, it's still in the original state. I've tried calling AmeriSafe several times, DURING BUSINESS HOURS, and leaving multiple voicemails to ask for a status update, and I've not heard anything back. I just literally don't have my stuff. In the face of what was already a traumatic move, hence the time crunch, they seem to have just run off with my stuff and my valuable items, which are likely broken now anyway due to the treatment and handling of them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are incredibly unprofessional and fail to respond. A literal scam.

Excellent Service
The moving crew was punctual, efficient, and extremely careful with all of my belongings. Everyone was polite, professional, and easy to work with from start to finish. I couldn’t be happier with the service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable moving company.

I was extremely impressed
I have moved more times than I'd like to admit in my life and I was extremely impressed with this moving crew. My moving crew were a joy to work with for the 4 hours it took. They showed up exactly on time, were extremely professional (& great company), and carefully wrapped up all my furniture. For the first time ever, I can say I moved without a single item breaking or being damaged!

Avoid this Moving service
Avoid Amerisafe movers. Horrible experience. Majority of my items were missing or broken. I moved from Dallas to SFO using their service. I wish I can give Zero Stars . My moving experience was nightmare. Later they settle very negligible amount for all items worth more than thousands dollars.

Professional and Stress-Free Moving Experience
AmeriSafe Moving Services made our move from Florida to New York City a smooth and stress-free experience. The crew was punctual, professional, friendly, and extremely careful with all of our belongings. They handled the packing, loading, transportation, and delivery efficiently while making sure everything arrived safely. Communication was excellent throughout the entire move, and the team kept us informed every step of the way. We were very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend AmeriSafe Moving Services to anyone planning a long-distance move from Florida to New York City.

AVOID AmeriSafe
I wish I could give zero stars. Avoid AmeriSafe at all costs if you’re looking for clear communication and a trustworthy moving experience. My partner and I moved from Washington to Oregon, and from the very beginning, there were major inconsistencies between AmeriSafe and the third-party movers they outsourced. On moving day, the movers were nearly six hours late. During that time, we had to repeatedly contact AmeriSafe for updates and they never once reached out to us proactively. Each time we called, we were told they’d contact the dispatcher and get back to us within an hour. That follow-up rarely happened, and when it did, the estimated arrival times kept shifting: first 1–2 hours, then 45 minutes, then 23 minutes, and finally 14 minutes. The movers eventually showed up—but only after constant pressure from us. When I asked for clarification during one of these calls, the AmeriSafe rep repeatedly interrupted me, insisted I was wrong, and defensively claimed they weren’t being negligent, despite the fact that I wasn’t accusing them of that. I was simply trying to get a straight answer about the movers’ arrival time because we had to keep rescheduling a cleaning crew. Once the movers arrived, it took them about four hours to load our one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment. We clearly communicated the required delivery date and time in Oregon due to a work obligation. That date came and went with zero communication from AmeriSafe. Despite calling them multiple times, they said they couldn’t provide any delivery information. In the end, we only knew our belongings were on the move because we had placed an AirTag in one of the boxes. When the movers arrived, they demanded an extra fee due to stairs at the new place, despite the fact that we had already paid that surcharge twice. When we asked to see the truck to confirm our items were inside, they aggressively refused until we paid the extra fee. Upon delivery, nothing was unwrapped, they attempted to drop off items that weren’t ours, and several of our belongings were missing. In summary: AmeriSafe was disorganized, unprofessional, unresponsive, and untrustworthy. If you want a smooth, stress-free move, choose any other company.

I had a great experience with the moving team. They arrived on time, worked quickly, and handled all of my belongings with care. The entire process was organized and stress-free. Everyone was friendly, professional, and respectful. I would definitely recommend their service.

SCAM
I would give 0 stars if I could. They were extremely unprofessional and constantly contradicted each other. Their estimate they gave to us was off by $6000. They admitted they weren’t very good at their jobs when giving estimates but said oh well too bad for you. Their company is an absolute scam. They make it difficult to reach them, they don’t allow you to locate where in transit your items are or at least make it difficult. They are not the route to go if you’d like a company that doesn’t scam you and breaks all your things.
