We had to split our move into 2 phases: first to a storage unit, then to the new house a month later. Thankfully, Americas Family & Moving Services experts kept track of everything with clear labels and didn’t mix up any boxes. They executed it all flawlessly!
This was my first time using professional movers, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was much easier than we were able to do everything ourselves. Heavy lifting, organized wrapping and loading of furniture into the truck. It was a big relief to have to hand the hard work to the professionals.
This was not our first attempt, so we did know what could go wrong. Luckily this time it was much simpler and we didn't have to spend the whole day chasing the movers around.
The whole practice was well planned from the preliminary co-ordination to the final unloading. They were friendly and had taken care of our belongings.
They moved a large upright piano that I was nervous about. They wrapped it in thick blankets, strapped it securely inside the truck, and eased it down the ramp with full control. It was a relief to receive it in one piece!
We were relocating from our small apartment to our larger home and were very happy with the movers working efficiently. Did not complain about the amount of boxes we had and were careful of furniture. The unloading was as well co-ordinated as the loading.
Even if they came prepared, packing a house with a toddler may be a real challenge. They got right to work and were great with my curious kid, who wanted to watch everything. It was a huge comfort to have them take the lead.
They are deserving of all praise for their movers! My Grandmother was going into a live in care facility and she was very nervous about the move. But the movers treated her like family – they engaged her in conversation, reassured her and even took extra care with her favorite rocking chair. Once they brought her to them they created her new room in the same way that it was at her house and the transition seemed slightly easier. It meant the world to her!
