Worst Joke Ever.

The movers were rude, dismissive, and acted like they were doing me a favor. They rolled their eyes every time I asked them to be careful with my fragile items and made sarcastic comments when I asked them to move a heavy couch upstairs. Their attitude made the entire experience uncomfortable and stressful. I will never recommend them to anyone.

Americas family movers

I was quoted a price over the phone with a salesman from the company without coming to the home. I asked them to co.e to the home and see exactly what needs to be picked up. He said that it would be very costly to come to the home and that we could send pictures of everything. I sent the pictures of all of the furniture that I needed moved and he quoted me a price of the pictures that he saw and sent me an electronic contract. I had to give him half upfront and then half after it was delivered . I excepted that and proceeded. When the movers came they showed up the day it was to be picked up but not until the evening when it was already dark. I waited all day and when they did show up it was in a rental truck and did not say America's family movers. They came and took more picture of the furniture and then said that the price is increasing as will take up more space in the truck. It actually doubled in price, spoke with a lady from company and said not responsible for third party as they are a broker and get another company to move the furniture. Did not know that and cant get money returned . so I had alot already invested and needed to move as leaving the next day. I had to zelle the money as they will not take credit cards or debit . It had to be zelled. how convenient as you can't dispute a zelle through the bank. Basically stealing more money . the furniture was to be delivered on the 12th and did not come till the day after. they were suppose to put the furniture back together and only partially put some together. Too lazy to do the rest. When they put all the furniture in the home there was a big scrape on the dinning room table. Clearly quite damaged. they took a Picture of it said they would let there supervisor know. I also took a picture of it and sent it to the company. We'll they told me that it's a separate department that takes care of damages and gave me the number. called that number and nobody answers the phone. The. I get an email to submit a claim and so I did and they said claim can't be submitted as they want a copy of fro t a d back of contract. it's an electronic contract.the whole thing is a scam. americas family moving company is a broker not an actual moving company, stay far away from them.

I would absolutely use them again!

They are deserving of all praise for their movers! My Grandmother was going into a live in care facility and she was very nervous about the move. But the movers treated her like family – they engaged her in conversation, reassured her and even took extra care with her favorite rocking chair. Once they brought her to them they created her new room in the same way that it was at her house and the transition seemed slightly easier. It meant the world to her!

Simply the best.

There were a number of mirrors, framed pictures and glass objects that I had concerns about. The crew carefully wrapped up the fragile parts and ensured that they were secure in the truck. No damage to anything occurred during the transfer. We felt the service was worth our while for that alone.

HORRIBLE

My long-distance move was supposed to take three days, but it took over a week for my belongings to arrive. During that time, I had no idea where my items were because customer service kept giving me vague answers. When my things finally arrived, several items were damaged, and one box was missing. Moving is stressful enough without this kind of hassle.

Very happy customer.

This was my first time using professional movers, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was much easier than we were able to do everything ourselves. Heavy lifting, organized wrapping and loading of furniture into the truck. It was a big relief to have to hand the hard work to the professionals.

Faultless service!

The lads began disassembling my TV and king bed as soon as they arrived with their tools. They covered my wall-mounted TV and standing lamp base in moving blankets with extra care. My air fryer and rice cooker arrived like my other household appliances arrived in cartons.
