DO NOT USE!!!

I would give this company 0 stars if I could! We schedule a full service move with them and made sure they wrote into the contract a cancellation date and a full refund!! They gave us 3 weeks. We called at 2weeks and 5 days to cancel because we decided to do it ourselves and they will not give us our refund! The lady that keeps answering the phone says we are not eligible for a refund even though we emailed them the contract they set up with us that says we are! The male we originally booked with is never there and will not answer our calls anymore and I’m pretty sure this female is the only employee!! She said we had to email support to speak to a higher up so we did and they never responded. We called to see if they got the email and she was the one checking the email! We are out almost 2k because of this company. They are a scam. They are a broker company and do not mention that and couldn’t even tell us what company would be coming to move our stuff!!! DO NOT USE!! We have reported them! Pretty sure all these other review are fake as they are all brand new reviews!

Couldn't have gone better.

The gratitude I feel for Carl and his team for helping us relocate is beyond words. They arrived at my house early, carefully packed everything, and transported it immediately. I'm thrilled my priceless violin arrived safely and without a scratch! Overall, it was an amazing experience!

Americas family movers

I was quoted a price over the phone with a salesman from the company without coming to the home. I asked them to co.e to the home and see exactly what needs to be picked up. He said that it would be very costly to come to the home and that we could send pictures of everything. I sent the pictures of all of the furniture that I needed moved and he quoted me a price of the pictures that he saw and sent me an electronic contract. I had to give him half upfront and then half after it was delivered . I excepted that and proceeded. When the movers came they showed up the day it was to be picked up but not until the evening when it was already dark. I waited all day and when they did show up it was in a rental truck and did not say America's family movers. They came and took more picture of the furniture and then said that the price is increasing as will take up more space in the truck. It actually doubled in price, spoke with a lady from company and said not responsible for third party as they are a broker and get another company to move the furniture. Did not know that and cant get money returned . so I had alot already invested and needed to move as leaving the next day. I had to zelle the money as they will not take credit cards or debit . It had to be zelled. how convenient as you can't dispute a zelle through the bank. Basically stealing more money . the furniture was to be delivered on the 12th and did not come till the day after. they were suppose to put the furniture back together and only partially put some together. Too lazy to do the rest. When they put all the furniture in the home there was a big scrape on the dinning room table. Clearly quite damaged. they took a Picture of it said they would let there supervisor know. I also took a picture of it and sent it to the company. We'll they told me that it's a separate department that takes care of damages and gave me the number. called that number and nobody answers the phone. The. I get an email to submit a claim and so I did and they said claim can't be submitted as they want a copy of fro t a d back of contract. it's an electronic contract.the whole thing is a scam. americas family moving company is a broker not an actual moving company, stay far away from them.

very smoothly and tension-free

I was moving out of a rental where the landlord was known to be picky about damage, so I was paranoid about dents or scratches. Thankfully, their crew noticed this right away and handled everything with extra care. They used corner protectors on the staircase, wrapped furniture more thoroughly than I expected, and checked each room before leaving. It was a seamless experience thanks to them!

Very happy customer.

This was my first time using professional movers, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was much easier than we were able to do everything ourselves. Heavy lifting, organized wrapping and loading of furniture into the truck. It was a big relief to have to hand the hard work to the professionals.

I would absolutely use them again!

They are deserving of all praise for their movers! My Grandmother was going into a live in care facility and she was very nervous about the move. But the movers treated her like family – they engaged her in conversation, reassured her and even took extra care with her favorite rocking chair. Once they brought her to them they created her new room in the same way that it was at her house and the transition seemed slightly easier. It meant the world to her!
