Moving company in Pompano Beach, FL
This was my first time using professional movers, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was much easier than we were able to do everything ourselves. Heavy lifting, organized wrapping and loading of furniture into the truck. It was a big relief to have to hand the hard work to the professionals.
The movers planned the day so it would be smooth and stress-free. There was furniture in various rooms, loose items in the closet, and some unsealed boxes. The crew brought additional tape, storage boxes and packing materials. They were very organized in packing the loose items, wrapping the furniture and loading the truck. It was as though they were in control every step of the way.
We had to do a lot of moving in narrow hallways and on a lot of stairs in our condo move and they made it through just fine. All the boxes and contents were found in good order. Bravo!
The ease with which everything was managed throughout the procedure amazed me. The personnel made the process simple and hassle-free, and they were kind and quick to respond.
They are deserving of all praise for their movers! My Grandmother was going into a live in care facility and she was very nervous about the move. But the movers treated her like family – they engaged her in conversation, reassured her and even took extra care with her favorite rocking chair. Once they brought her to them they created her new room in the same way that it was at her house and the transition seemed slightly easier. It meant the world to her!
We were relocating from our small apartment to our larger home and were very happy with the movers working efficiently. Did not complain about the amount of boxes we had and were careful of furniture. The unloading was as well co-ordinated as the loading.
I was quoted a price over the phone with a salesman from the company without coming to the home. I asked them to co.e to the home and see exactly what needs to be picked up. He said that it would be very costly to come to the home and that we could send pictures of everything. I sent the pictures of all of the furniture that I needed moved and he quoted me a price of the pictures that he saw and sent me an electronic contract. I had to give him half upfront and then half after it was delivered . I excepted that and proceeded. When the movers came they showed up the day it was to be picked up but not until the evening when it was already dark. I waited all day and when they did show up it was in a rental truck and did not say America's family movers. They came and took more picture of the furniture and then said that the price is increasing as will take up more space in the truck. It actually doubled in price, spoke with a lady from company and said not responsible for third party as they are a broker and get another company to move the furniture. Did not know that and cant get money returned . so I had alot already invested and needed to move as leaving the next day. I had to zelle the money as they will not take credit cards or debit . It had to be zelled. how convenient as you can't dispute a zelle through the bank. Basically stealing more money . the furniture was to be delivered on the 12th and did not come till the day after. they were suppose to put the furniture back together and only partially put some together. Too lazy to do the rest. When they put all the furniture in the home there was a big scrape on the dinning room table. Clearly quite damaged. they took a Picture of it said they would let there supervisor know. I also took a picture of it and sent it to the company. We'll they told me that it's a separate department that takes care of damages and gave me the number. called that number and nobody answers the phone. The. I get an email to submit a claim and so I did and they said claim can't be submitted as they want a copy of fro t a d back of contract. it's an electronic contract.the whole thing is a scam. americas family moving company is a broker not an actual moving company, stay far away from them.
Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. Important details were overlooked, and the overall experience felt rushed and poorly managed. Significant improvements are needed.
From the first interaction to the final delivery, everything was handled professionally. The staff was friendly, responsive, and made the move much less stressful than I expected. Highly recommended.
The whole practice was well planned from the preliminary co-ordination to the final unloading. They were friendly and had taken care of our belongings.
