After years in Phoenix, AZ, my wife and I decided to move to Austin, TX to be closer to our grandkids. America First Moving treated our furniture and keepsakes like they were their own. Everything arrived perfectly, even my old record collection.
We moved from Nashville, Tennessee to Charleston, South Carolina, and America First Moving handled it beautifully. Their team packed everything in one day and delivered within the week. They communicated every step of the way, and even our fragile decorations arrived without a scratch.
Our move from Tulsa, OK to Charlotte, NC went smoothly thanks to America First Moving. The team worked quickly but still took the time to secure fragile boxes and protect larger furniture pieces. Communication remained clear throughout the trip.
So we had a drop off date of June 10th or 12th I was told today that we will not get our belongings until the 15 or 16th. Sitting here in our new home with none of our belongings. I would not recommend this company to anyone. These guys are brokers and once they get paid you’re basically at the mercy of whoever they find to pick up and drop off your belongings. On top of that you agree on a price sign the contract and then they want more money out of you because they have no idea the sizes and shapes of your belongings so what you think your getting is not what you actually get unless you want to pay more.

Our move from Columbus, OH to Jacksonville, FL went better than expected. America First Moving arrived on time, packed everything carefully, and stayed friendly the whole day. Nothing was damaged and the process felt very well coordinated.
If i could give zero starts, I would. This company is an absolute scam. Even though we showed him all the items in the video call for couple of hrs. They intentionally gave us a low ball estimate by reducing the cubic ft. On the day of pickup, they would argue about the cubic ft and the person who originally estimated wont pickup your call. When they estimate, they would do sweet talk to get the order. We had to pay additional 30% of the money since we dont have choice at the time of pickup. Whats worse is, they blatantly lied about not out sourcing - my move was handled by multiple different companies, none of which were professional or reliable. All of our Bi-cycles broke, some of the boxes were damaged. Initially they told they will deliver in 2-3 days when they want to get the order but they delivered only after 2 weeks. The guys who delivered made all of our carpet dirty in our apartment. We asked to clean it up but they didnt saying they dont have cleaning stuff and they have to urgently deliver something else. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want stress, hidden fees, broken promises and zero accountability. Total nightmare.
