All of my belongings were wrapped in bubble paper and perfectly taken care of. Very dedicated moving services.
Only after money, will increase bid by more than $1,000.00. Shows up late by several hours or puts off till next day. Movers smelled like weed. Boxes crushed. Mentioned tip 9 times while unloading. Worst broker in business. They have snotty customer service, who doesn't care. I'm sure they get yelled at a lot, with the service they provide. Buyer be ware.
If i could give zero starts, I would. This company is an absolute scam. Even though we showed him all the items in the video call for couple of hrs. They intentionally gave us a low ball estimate by reducing the cubic ft. On the day of pickup, they would argue about the cubic ft and the person who originally estimated wont pickup your call. When they estimate, they would do sweet talk to get the order. We had to pay additional 30% of the money since we dont have choice at the time of pickup. Whats worse is, they blatantly lied about not out sourcing - my move was handled by multiple different companies, none of which were professional or reliable. All of our Bi-cycles broke, some of the boxes were damaged. Initially they told they will deliver in 2-3 days when they want to get the order but they delivered only after 2 weeks. The guys who delivered made all of our carpet dirty in our apartment. We asked to clean it up but they didnt saying they dont have cleaning stuff and they have to urgently deliver something else. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want stress, hidden fees, broken promises and zero accountability. Total nightmare.
We moved from Clearwater, FL to Chicago, IL so my wife could be closer to her family. America First Moving managed our 3-bedroom home, and the crew worked quickly without cutting corners. What really stood out was how they communicated throughout the trip—we never had to wonder where our things were.
So we had a drop off date of June 10th or 12th I was told today that we will not get our belongings until the 15 or 16th. Sitting here in our new home with none of our belongings. I would not recommend this company to anyone. These guys are brokers and once they get paid you’re basically at the mercy of whoever they find to pick up and drop off your belongings. On top of that you agree on a price sign the contract and then they want more money out of you because they have no idea the sizes and shapes of your belongings so what you think your getting is not what you actually get unless you want to pay more.
I moved from a 4-bedroom house in Wesley Chapel to a new home in Land O’ Lakes, and America First Moving made the whole process incredibly easy. The team showed up on time, handled all my furniture, appliances, and fragile items with so much care, and worked quickly without cutting corners. They kept everything organized and even helped reassemble my beds and dining table. Everything arrived safely, and they made what I thought would be a stressful day very smooth and pleasant. America First is a moving broker. They contract with local moving companies to do the actual move. The initial phone quote was $8500 (paperwork sent confirming price). Since this was my fourth quote it lined up with the other three quotes I rec'd. But, when the inventory list was done, the price went to $13,000. They did lower it to $11,587 (which was still extremely high). I had no time to change my moving company. The main person I communicated with was the driver. His command of the English language was poor. The packers could not speak or understand English. The following items were damaged or destroyed: 1) Molding on the hutch was damaged, 2) broken pictures / glass frames, 3) clothes were not hung in wardrobes, they were folded and stacked until there was no more room. Could not reach the bottom of the box and the box was too heavy for me to tip over so I could empty it. 4) wrapped candles in two sets of sheets and the red dye permanently stained and ruined the sheets, 5) salad crisper destroyed, 6) broke glass globe stand, 6) broke standing light stand, 7) sleep # mattress was not wrapped correctly so it does not operate correctly. Will cost me $290 just to have a representative to evaluate the damage. Finally, when I sent my letter, with pictures of all the damaged/broken items, they said they could compensate me $100. At that point, I knew there was no need to speak to them any further. DO NOT USE THSE PEOPLE. They are scammers!

I decided to hire this company and to me was the best choice. They are very friendly movers and made sure my furniture arrived in perfect condition. I feel I paid the right price for the right service.
