Our family relocated from Chandler, Arizona to Overland Park, Kansas to be closer to grandparents. America First Moving handled our four bedroom home with patience and professionalism. With two kids and a busy schedule, having a team that stayed calm and organized made a huge difference.
They were very nice and responsive until they cheat you. The moving teams showed up 4 hours before scheduled I was unprepared because I had a lot to take care of before the move. They demanded a $220 tip for junking a bed frame right outside the apartment. They didn't give me a chance to do a walk through after the move because when they called me to say they already left while I was at the dog park. I had to end up paying a smaller moving company to get all the stuff they left behind in my apartment the next day. When you call the back to complain they ghost you. Don't trust them with all that 25 years in the business crap they will tell you.
My move from Spokane, WA to Phoenix, AZ could not have gone better. America First Moving handled every step professionally, from the initial pickup to the final delivery. The movers were punctual, respectful, and extremely careful with all of my belongings.
We moved from Tampa, Florida to Raleigh, North Carolina for my husband’s job, and I was honestly dreading the process. America First Moving showed up on time, packed everything neatly, and handled our fragile items with care. The movers were polite, worked efficiently, and stayed calm even when our kids were running around. Everything arrived exactly when they said it would, and nothing was broken.
So we had a drop off date of June 10th or 12th I was told today that we will not get our belongings until the 15 or 16th. Sitting here in our new home with none of our belongings. I would not recommend this company to anyone. These guys are brokers and once they get paid you’re basically at the mercy of whoever they find to pick up and drop off your belongings. On top of that you agree on a price sign the contract and then they want more money out of you because they have no idea the sizes and shapes of your belongings so what you think your getting is not what you actually get unless you want to pay more.
America First Moving did an excellent job with my move from Miami, FL to Seattle, WA. It was a huge 5-bedroom house filled with furniture, antiques, and my workshop tools. The team packed everything securely, labeled boxes clearly, and delivered on time without a single issue. This company really takes pride in its work.
